The room and bathroom were very spacious. I loved the vanity cabinet with the light. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoyed all of the sitting areas both inside and out.
A great place to stay, we were there eight nights loved the clean, quiet atmosphere and friendly people. A great breakfast served each day with a varied menu.
One of the most adorable places I have ever stayed! Comfy beds, beautiful grounds and common areas, attention to detail, breakfast was delicious… would totally stay here again!!
The decor was awesome. Rooms were clean and excellent. Breakfast was a plus.

Beautifully restored old property far off the beaten tourist path. Sole caveat: Because so few units/guests, I presume, breakfast time very short (1 hr).
This is true island living. There are tons of places to quietly lounge around in like in the gardens, on the patio, in a beautifully furnished den, or their living room. The included breakfast was actually really delicious as well with a full spread of fruit from a local market.
My husband and I came for our elopement on Maui, and we’re so happy we chose to stay here. The room was so cute and most importantly clean. I also loved how big the shower was. They provide everything you need - there were even beach towels in there for us to use. Convenient to the airport and a bunch of restaurants. Not on a beach, but you’re really not missing out since everything is fairly close. They helped my friend secretly deliver an elopement gift for us, which was so sweet of them!
What a nice "hotel". It doesn't have the typical hotel flair with a lobby etc. and that's what makes this accommodation so special. The rooms as well as the lounge are stylishly furnished - modern but the house is original. It has a beautiful garden. There is even a small breakfast buffet - delicious. The location is also perfect for excursions such as "Road to Hana" or watching the sunset in Haleakala. Would choose this accommodation again anytime. Thank you
This lovely Inn was quiet and well-maintained. The gardens were beautiful. There is seating in the yard, porch, and foyer area inside the main building. The bedrooms are a mix of older cabinetry/shelving and new renovations such as floor, shower, sink in the bathroom. The single downside was a security light on the side of the main lodge that lit into the room I had, with no shade to help block, only a curtain that did not block it much. The breakfast was a mix of eggs, sausage, fruits, and juice, among a few other things. It was hearty and filling. Overall a wonderful place I would definitely stay in again.
The historic property was very cool and neatly modernized. The neighborhood/area was quiet, but not easily walkable to restaurants, shops, or attractions, which was fine. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast or even walk around the property, as we were too busy experiencing other parts of Maui. In retrospect, this probably wasn't the most ideal location or accommodation for our vacation. If looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, this is the place. However, we spent a great deal of time driving to attractions, restaurants, and other sites around Maui and then driving back to Wailuku to stay overnight. Other inconveniences: hauling our luggage upstairs to our room, having to check out by 10:00 sharp (aren't most properties 11:00 or 12:00 check-outs?), and being required to strip the bed of linens and put towels in the shower. Rules like that are a hassle when you're on vacation. Overall, the property is clean, well-maintained, and very nice. We loved our room and couldn't have asked for anything more, but it just wasn't the best accommodation for our vacation.
Check in instructions are outdated and incomplete. The script used by the C S Rep at is not updated with the actual Key Pad on the door, therefore instructions were one step different but enough to create a 45 minute check in that was very frustrating!!!
