“We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was plentiful and varied with good quality ingredients. Our bed was comfortable and it felt like a proper home-from-home. I just can't fault our experience here because the location was good and Chris & Jackie were very helpful and welcoming. On the morning of our departure, Jackie had noticed that the seagulls had made a mess on our car so she gave the car a wash! That was above and beyond most peoples expectations as far as I'm concerned. Excellent.”

“The continental breakfast was more than adequate with a pot per person of tea/coffee .The full car park indicated that the hotel was a popular choice to stay which was not surprising As a bonus literally 2 mins walk away is the Cristallo Italian restaurant,fantastic food,generous portions and wonderful friendly service ”

“Great little find for myself and husband for his birthday. Really friendly staff, lovely clean room and good food and drink options. Leads directly into the forest which was lovely, a five min walk down to the village for a pint and a wonder round! Definitely will stay again”

“Breakfast was delicious, easy parking, there’s also an overflow parking on the other side of the road (sister hotel). We stayed in York, room was clean, enjoyed the jacuzzi, however the mattress needs an upgrade. Overall great stay! ”
