Good sized room & bathroom, very clean. You have to fetch fresh milk from the bar area for your teas & coffees. Breakfast good, lots of cooked options along with cereals, yogurt, fruit & pastries.

Stayed here many times under different management, but small attention to detail wasn't as good this time. Certain things not clarified at check in, a few minor issues with room, some which were dealt with very quickly, others which couldn't be, but were things that should have been known by staff. Staff very friendly and attentive though

Stayed for 6 nights with a dog and had a lovely time. Room was lovely and very comfortable bed. They even included water bowl, ball, poo bags and multiple treats for our 4 legged friend. Proximity to Port Isaac was excellent, easy walking distance. Nice to use as a base for exploring Cornwall. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

The property is hundreds of years old, has charm etc. The staff are fantastic, rooms good size well appointed. Down side...parking an issue stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow. Thank you looking after us

This is a country hotel with rooms above. Our room which were very comfortable and appropriately furnished. The rooms are well equipped with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage, a coffee pod machine and kettle with a full tray offering various beverage options and biscuits / cookies. The staff were just brilliant and couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed during a particularly warm weekend and despite no air conditioning in our room, we were given two fans to cool it down. The food and particularly the breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choice which catered for every dietary need and it was also always served with a smile. The bar also had a great choice of locally brewed ales and spirits. All in all we had a very enjoyable weekend and we would definitely use The Port Gaverne again. Only slightly negative observation was that parking is limited and can be a bit of an issue at busy times due to the location, but this did not spoil our stay in any way.

Stay here!!!! This pub and inn is amazing. Great friendly staff, awesome rooms and great location to trails and port Isaac. If you’re American like me and afraid of driving down to the inn, no worries there is a car park at the top of the hill that is easy to park in and walk down a steep hill to the inn. Parking is a fee but not expensive. Pub food was great! Overall super happy with my stay (:

Excellent hotel in a superb location - food was great - we had pretty much everything off the menu over our week long stay here. (Don't miss Pie and a Pint night on Mondays!) Staff were lovely and very helpful. Parking is a challenge and whilst we always found a space (just!) there is only 8 spaces for a 15 room hotel and we often found non residents (beach goers and dog walkers etc.) using the hotel car park so what space the hotel does control needs to be 'policed' better!

This was our favorite place to stay in the UK so far. The room was spacious and clean, and the included breakfast excellent. The pub offered drink and food specials that helped us stay in budget- and were of excellent quality. The location is easily walkable to Port Issac and local walking trails. We highly recommend the Port Gaverne!

Our room was spotless and even a box of goodies for our little dog. The staff were happy and helpful and having had two dinners and two breakfasts there, I food was hot (I'm fussy!) and delicious. Can't wait to return!

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were amazing. Would highly recommend this as a must to visit or stay when visiting Cornwall. The views were spectacular and the beach was clean and tidy. The restaurant was a real treat with amazing cuisine from the breakfast through to the fine dining experience in the evening. The accommodation was superb and definitely value for money.

What a beautiful setting right next to the beach, very dog friendly, all staff were welcoming and customer service was excellent. In the room there are dry robes for use during your stay. Very quirky pub/hotel. The food was excellent and they cater for gluten free. I recommend for a peaceful romantic getaway.

We had a brilliant overnight stay in this old pub in this tiny cove. The staff are really lovely and the food was excellent. Very comfortable bed and a nice clean fresh bathroom. Breakfast was large and tasty. There's a bit of plumbing noise but you can expect that in old buildings.

We had an enjoyable 5-night stay at the Port Gaverne Hotel. The service was excellent and the food was very good. We enjoyed the variety of offerings at breakfast and the Sunday Roast. This is not "pub food." This is an old hotel and be advised that the rooms are small and up steep stairs, although the staff helped with luggage. We were there during a heat wave and there is no air conditioning, which is typically not needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedding lovely. The location is beautiful and a short walk up the hill to Port Isaac.
