Great bargain for traveling with a pet

Our room was clean, and the a/c was great, but the room shows age and wear and the beds are quite firm. Tub had no plug and the toilet flushed very slowly, so we lifted the lid to use the lever inside for better flushing. We received help getting the TV channels very quickly after calling for help. This location is only a three minute drive from the waterfront boardwalk and park. The office staff were very friendly and the morning coffee was very good too!

Memorial Day weekend

As always our stay was nice and comfortable. Little issue getting tv to work but front desk came and helped in a jiffy. Ice make wasn't working, but other than that our room was clean.

Nick Jacob & Yvette were wonderful friendly front staff so we’re the surrounding staff & house keeping during our 2 night stay thank you making a hurricane situation more relaxing for us & we were able to stay in the same room two nights ! This Motel has been renovated. The room i sayed in was very clean and updated. A/c worked well. They do need to buy new mattresses as mine was very uncomfortably hard. My toliet was slow to finally flush and my door would not close and lock when wanting to leave for the day. Its perfect for rhe price and i love Port Lavaca. So i will most definitely be back. Thank you very much

Forgot my earrings

My husband and I stay at this specific Motel 6 every time we visit Port Lavaca, which is usually 2-3 times a year, and for good reason. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, our room is always clean and depending on time of year, they turn the a/c or heat on before our arrival. Our fur baby is always welcome and never any problems. But this last visit I forgot my diamond hoop earrings on nightstand next to phone. I called Jacob at the front desk and being the wonderful person he is told me not to worry, he went to find them, located them, and mailed them to my home address! Jacob is such an amazing human and we appreciate his kindness and integrity. He is such a pleasant conversationalist when we visit. Until next time Motel 6.... thanks again for a wonderful stay.
