This is probably the best hotel in Port Moresby. It’s very convenient and safe. The staff are friendly too. It is also very close to the airport

I’ve stayed here many times, all have been good. This time not so good, mould in the bathroom, no hot water, extremely noisey ground floor with internal hotel car park traffic, no chain lock for the door, I felt unsafe and did not sleep well, I did not receive requested wake up call. When I mentioned on checkout, I was told that most people don’t like the ground floor on that wing. I travel for work as do my staff, I will be reconsidering Airways for my future stays.

Staff were friendly and attentive providing top class service. Lots of fun things to do with the kids - tennis, table tennis, squash, pool. Felt like we were at a resort not a hotel.

Close to airport. Room clean. Bacchus room just average. Air con and ceiling fan didn't work - room was very hot with only heavy bed cover. Shower sprayed water all over floor.

Welcome oasis after long flight from USA
Wonderful location so close to airport and friendly shuttle service with our many heavy bags. Top floor restaurant has glorious view and food is superb. Rooms with ultra modern bathrooms.

Our stay was wonderful. Even though our room was in the Bacchus Wing which is an annex to the main building, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Above all, staff at all levels were exceptionally polite and friendly, and keen to help. The hotel has an excellent fitness centre and wonderful dining options with various facilities available throughout the day, and the location is particularly convenient for the airport. We would definitely stay there again.

The very highlight of our stay with them was that they upgraded us to a bigger and better room for the same rate we were paying for the original booked room. They were very polite and our room was just wonderful. We woule stay there again? No doubt!

Airways is an older quality hotel; the old rooms are showing the age but still it is an old well-known brand for a stopover for a night before your flight it is great no hotels in Port Moresby are value for money but at least at Airways it is consistent, and you have options for inhouse dinning and bars. But be warned it is not a budget

We stayed at this hotel overnight as we had to connect the next morning. We were early so had to wait for the room but we still got it an hour early. Room was comfortable. Staff were helpful and efficient. I had an excellent steak in the pool side restaurant my friend had the curry which he didn’t finish. We had our wake up call and someone helped us with our luggage. I would recommend this hotel

Everything about the hotel was great. It was my second stay at Airways. The staff is friendly and attentive, it’s clean, restaurants were great, easy to order room service, shuttle pick from and to the airport, etc. No complaints at all.

During the corona virus crisis
The Air Ways is the best hotel in Port Moresby. Although it was obvious that the corona virus pandemic has slowed their business down, they maintain the same excellent service. The gym is open for shorter time and the martini hour was not in the usual place.

Check in was quick and staff friendly. I gave less marks as I tried to get help with my luggage. No one answered the phone and I had to struggle with my baggage to the reception. Very poor service.
