I had a great stay at this warm, family-run guesthouse. The room was very comfortable, wifi strong and great running water! The hosts were kind and warm plus the location was excellent. Close enough to downtown but far away enough as well! I definitely will be back next time I roll through T&T!

Safe place

Last min booking but had a great 2 night stay here. I canme in at 1am and they waited for me then gave me a breakfast next morning to my room. This family is awsome. Ch3cked up on me adter i left.

I had a wonderful stay at Shalom Guesthouse in Port of Spain. It is located in a quiet and safe area. The room is spacious, with a mini fridge, which is great for cooling food and drinks and a table, which is practical for working, an en-suite bathroom and even a little terrace. The owner was very helpful with everything, like directions and other information. A delicious breakfast was served to my room. I could rest well here, can highly recommend this accommodation. :)

“A True Home Away from Home!” I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shalom guest house! From the moment I arrived, I felt safe and welcomed. The location is perfect, with easy access to transportation, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel like part of their family, offering helpful guidance and support throughout your stay. I especially loved the complimentary breakfast each morning – it was delicious and a great way to start the day. Overall, my experience was outstanding. Their unwavering support made my stay even more enjoyable, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

The hosts here are incredible. I've stayed in places from Hawaii to Kenya, in various locations that range from hostels to 5 star luxury safari's. This was a surprise trip for my girlfriend to visit the country her family is from. Her family kept wondering if she would be safe. We couldn't have felt safer and more watched over. I loved the fact that the hosts are nearby, easily reachable, and give us various restaurant recommendations. The hosts husband is very much appreciated as a driver when we're in need. The real testament is, I extended our stay here when I actually have another hotel paid for somewhere else. Think about that when reading this review... I was so happy with our location and hosts.. we didn't want to leave.
