A very fun and interesting historical place to stay. My husband and I stayed in one of the newer studios and my son stayed in one of the old brothel rooms. Both rooms were fun, well kept, and comfortable. Excellent location. We would definitely book here again.
We loved the period furnishings and the wonderfully helpful staff. The location was perfect. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was the lack of an elevator.
Very unique hotel. Really enjoying staying in this historic place with lots of history. Right in the middle of downtown. Plenty of shops and cafes to walk to and places to hangout by the water.
We loved staying at the Palace hotel. The rooms were original Victorian and very large. The bathroom was amazing with the claw tub. The staff was super friendly friendly . It was fantastic being right downtown. We could walk everywhere.
everywhere and it was so nice being right downtown we could just walk everywhere.
The property was amazing. Our room was room 30. We loved the history and uniqueness of all parts of the hotel. The view and accommodations tempted us to change plans for rest of week and stay on!
A beautiful old century building converted hotel that has a lot of history attached to it and some interesting architecture and stories! Even though the building and property is old, it is beautifully preserved and the rooms tell a lot of stories that make you wonder about the people who might have lived there once!! Each room has its own unique style and has a name of a lady who once occupied it! It’s very well maintained and the amenities were very good useful!
Would love to be back for a longer visit next time!
My fiancé and I stayed for only one night but we were so blown away by the entire experience! The staff were so friendly and the building was gorgeous. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We definitely intend on staying here again the next time we visit Port Townsend!
Enjoyed our stay in this Historic Hotel. The rooms have more character than any other Hotel we have stayed at. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. We had been on a week long road trip and this was the best night rest we had in the whole trip. Right in the DT core so very walkable. There are Restaurants and shopping and views of the Bay and Marina. Staff was also friendly and helpful.
Amazing stay. Love that it’s right in the middle of everything. The hotel was clean and we loved the theme so much. The view was amazing and will be back to check out the other rooms. See you soon!
We loved staying at the Palace Hotel. The staff was very friendly and gracious, as were the townspeople. The decor was old-fashioned, clean, spacious, and the vibe was just right! There was also a well-stocked game room and library.
Location, location, location and history! What a lovely weekend we had staying at The Palace. We’ve stayed in historical hotels before, but we all agreed, this place is a gem. The furnishings complemented the historical era so well. Some older buildings have a musty smell, but this one was well-ventilated and fresh.
Our room gave us a full view of downtown as well as a peek a boo water view. Beds were soft, but very comfortable. We were worried about no air conditioning, but each room had a water cooler and fan that kept the room comfortable.
Such a treat to share these tastefully decorated rooms. Our favorite public space is the third floor library with its full skylight.
Such a cool historic hotel in an amazing central location. Surrounded by great shops and restaurants and the beach! There are a lot of stairs so just be prepared for that but if you are staying in one of the view rooms, it’s well worth the climb!
