"Very friendly and courteous staff, very clean everywhere, spacious room and bathroom, great quality and size bath towels, and a great breakfast, all for a very reasonable price. Also, great location as you are within a 5 minute walk of the walled city. Thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel to other travellers! "

"Satff were amazing, very hospitable and friendly. Unfortunately I did not catch the Team members name, although I know one own a pet rabbit. Team guides us to the best place for lunch, made reservations and called us a Taxi. Breakfast is a must at this Hotel, the options were surreal and delicious, you can’t beat the price or get a better breakfast for the price! "

"We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend! "
