"This has a lovely view of the harbour and is great if you just want somewhere to make a coffee and use as a base between adventures. Smart TV for the evenings was good so we could pop Netflix on and the leather chair is beautiful to sit in Pillows are SUPER comfortable on the bed and plenty of cushions/blankets if you visit in colder weather. "Good hotel with free parking and free Wifi. Our room was spacious and clean with a good shower. It is in an excellent location with a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 2/3 minute walk to the shops. Breakfast is a help yourself apart from the toast which is bought out to your table, a friend of ours said enjoy the vegan breakfast but the Hotel has changed hands since they had been and it was'nt available apart from a vegan sausage. Also not much on the evening menu for a vegan either. But it has'nt stopped us from re booking as we can eat elsewhere."

"I had a very enjoyable 3 night stay. Clair and Steve were excellent hosts - very friendly and welconing. The breakfasts were excellent, with a very wide range of high quality options. Tudor Lodge is very well-situated in Porthmadog: the railway station, bus stops, shops and restaurants are just a short walk away. I stayed in a single room on the ground floor at the front of the house and, although this faces the road, the double glazing meant that I was able to sleep without being disturbed by trafffic. (If the weather had been hotter and I'd wanted to sleep with the window open, I guess the noise might have been a problem, though the room had a large portable fan that migth have made it confortable to sleep with the window closed)."

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."

"We enjoyed our stay at this attractive historic hotel. Close to the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed and about 20 minutes from the zip wire attraction with lots of options for walkers and hikers. We thought it was a little overpriced; our room was fine though not very large and the view from the small window was of a wall. All meals are served in the pub and a range of pub type meals was available. The hot breakfasts were good but the continental options were limited. Lots of parking and plenty of covered tables outside for fine days."
