Front desk person was friendly and was very helpful. Our first room had a loud fan noise coming from the A/C system so we called to get a room change and she was good about that. The bed was comfy, room was clean and quiet. We were hopeful the breakfast would be great (based on reviews), but we were very disappointed at the lack of flavor in most of the food. Coffee was good.

Our air conditioner wasn't working when we arrived. They said they fixed it the first day we were there, but it was not fixed. They did come back and replace it the next day, but we were uncomfortable the first night. The bathroom wasn't super clean (dirt behind toilet) and the door did not close properly without pulling rather hard on it. We did appreciate breakfast being included.

What a lovely experience! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I brought my mother for a restful home away from home experience. She is 88 years old and experiencing health problems. Our window overlooked the Portland Jetport and she spent all day watching the planes take off and land. She told me the colors of each plane and the name of each airline. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.
