Check in is 4pm. We arrived at 4:20 and were told room was not ready. Very disappointing but the service agent realized it was an error pretty quickly and we were soon able to check in. Poor first impression. The room seemed clean but in the morning we found the conditioner bottle empty and mold on the shower fixtures. The breakfast buffet was pretty gross. A few terrible muffins, a big bowl of apples in late July, and 3 hot trays that were not very good: "egg patties," sausage patties, and deep fried french toast sticks. There was a decent cereal selection, at least. Valet parking was expensive and we were told to call 15 minutes before the car was needed. I called 20 minutes ahead, and when I went down to the lobby, the valet was sitting at his desk and inexplicably hadn't gotten my car. None of these were huge problems, except the bill was over $450 for one night. If you are going to charge that much money, I expect better service, food, and amenities.
