“Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. “Good central location. Clean and good facilities. Fine for a couple of nights. Centrally located with plenty within easy walking distance. Let down by poor checking process where I was outside the property but with no instructions. Had to call thankfully all quickly resolved.”
