Quick stay in Fishkill

Front desk lady was nice Saturday afternoon. She took care of me very efficient and room was ready at 3pm like she said. Room was clean. My stay was short. I had no problems.

I wanted a clean, safe place to sleep, and that is what this is. The staff was very friendly and tried to be accommodating when I asked for coffee and a coffeemaker. The coffeemaker was broken, and they didn't have any blow dryers or shampoo. I made do with instant coffee and not blow-drying my hair. There are plenty of places to get food, and a Walmart is across the street. This is a fine place to stay short-term.

Staff were absolutely amazing, polite, professional and accommodating. First Rm I was given smelled horrible and I politely went back to the front desk explaining and she apologized and immediately made accommodations. Rms needs to be updated, Rugs removed, bathroom wall above door had bubbles from water leaking and in the morning as I was packing my things a roach run across my Bed!! If these place made these updates I’m sure that their rating and reviews would go up.

Receptionist was super friendly and pleasant. She helped us quickly and efficiently when we got to our room and found that it had not been cleaned. Alternate room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Was a bit disquieting to see the policeman come into the lobby to address some issue but it had no impact on our stay. Breakfast is very skimpy but slightly better than last visit. Location was helpful for our visit and many restaurants nearby.

The hotel is only a two-star and was inexpensive, so you're not going to get a lot of frills. The room, however, was clean, the shower was strong, and the staff was friendly. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay and don't mind not having a lot of frills, this will suit your needs.

Basics on a Budget

Room was large and quiet for the most part. Some dogs barking periodically. The grab and go breakfast was minimal so even though it says breakfast included we had to get outside breakfast each day. No housekeeping services during seven night stay. Whenever we needed towels, toilet paper, etc. we had to ask at front desk. Was worried about smells when entered and up to the room but the room was okay. If looking for budget stay it’s okay but no amenities beyond the very basics.

Check-in was VERY slow, but the staff is great. This place isn't fancy--the front hall smells like dogs--but there were four things I really liked that are super-important to me: 1. The room was really clean. 2. The hotel itself is very quiet--more so than more upscale places I've stayed. I'm guessing that's because this is an extended stay place, so residents are more careful about being obnoxious because they're not checking out the next day. 3. The A/C and heating unit work very well and are quiet. 4. The bed was super-comfy: the pillows were perfect for me.

Friendly staff, dated property and needs to be updated. Evident ceiling leak in bathroom and by the door, chipped paint on cabinet doors. Welcome basket with, card and snacks was appreciated. The first bed in room 110 was horrible, every time my son moved the bed squeaked. He barely slept.

They could do better.

My stay was ok. I was welcomed by a nice lady at check in. The rooms appeared pertty clean but it did have a strange sent. I stayed 4 days and no one cleaned our room not 1 time during our stay and when i mentioned it to the front desk i was told the only clean the rooms every two weeks. No one would bring up tolite paper or towel. You had to bring down the old ones in order to get new ones. And there was a roach in my room when i came back from being out all day. So the stay was ok.

The shower was not clean long hairs in the shower it was gross. The staff wasnt too accommodating either when i asked for a late check out do to a family issue but its unfortunate to post this since the stays are relaxing and service is excellent
