"We were torn between the Edinburgh Grand and this location. If your wish is to step out your door and be in the middle of everything old town has to offer I would stay here. Keep in mind it is not a 5 star hotel, it is an apartment which does not have the staff or amenities of a 5 star. We had a higher grade room which was in their back separate building with no lobby. Space was large and clean. Getting back to main lobby was difficult. Felt mislead that this was called a 5 star hotel. However, the location was great. If I could do over I would stay at Edinburgh Grand. It is in New Town part of Edinburgh, which is a quick walk to old town. New town has awesome restaurants and shopping, we had all our dinners there. I walked by the Grand- felt more high end , grand lobby and attentive staff."

"honestly couldn’t fault my stay at the Radisson Blu Amsterdam City Center. From the moment I arrived, everything was excellent. The staff were absolutely outstanding — so warm, welcoming, kind and helpful throughout my entire stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the level of customer service was genuinely second to none. Every member of staff I dealt with made me feel incredibly welcome. I was very kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite, which was such a lovely surprise and made my stay even more special. The room was beautiful, spacious and extremely comfortable. I also ordered room service during my stay and that was excellent too — the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. The hotel itself is in a brilliant location, but for me it was the staff who really made the experience. Their kindness, professionalism and genuine friendliness stood out from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will absolutely choose this hotel when I return to Amsterdam. A truly wonderful stay and an easy 10/10. Highly recommended!"

"Nice location and freindly staff. property was clean and well maintained. Excellent location by the canal and central area. Good buffet breakfast as well reasonably priced. Quite pricey for the 15sqm room but noticed Amsterdam was much more expensive than Brussels or London at this time due to extra local tourism taxes etc. Would recommend!!"
