We had a fabulous time at Dikker and Thijs. We were greeted by wonderful front desk staff who continued to greet us each day with a smile, and small chat. The hotel itself is unique and though a bit of a maze to get to our room - it added to it’s uniqueness. We would return anytime we are back in Amsterdam and would recommend to others.

The location of the hotel was excellent for our travels to Amsterdam. Easy access to the tram which we used to navigate the city. We had a minor issue with the hot water and when we brought it to the staffs attention they remedied the issue. No fuss. The rooms are old-style European but spacious and comfortable. As well, the rooms are priced well. Highly recommend.
