The front desk staff were wonderful. Especially Carlos, he helped with scanning for parking and he also helped us get Wi-Fi. He was very professional and kind. He told us to just call if there was anything we needed.
Excellent hotel in a fantastic downtown location, just a short walk from Waterplace Park, Kennedy Plaza, and Providence Place Mall. The rooms are spacious, and the early check-in was a great bonus. I would definitely recommend it. Rating: 9/10
This hotel was just okay. Nothing special. The staff was fine. Not particularly friendly. The hotel does NOT have complimentary breakfast nor do they have a pool. They have a very modest snack area and parking is $36+ extra. I think some of the info may be getting crossed over since there are 2 marriots downtown... I also noticed they had cookies they gave away to those who checked in around 5pm but when we checked in around 3/4pm they did not. Don't stay here if you have kids - its adequate but nothing that would make us stay here again. We will likely try the Omni next time.
We had a great stay! The room was very clean, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The location was excellent—we were able to walk to plenty of restaurants, shops, and other attractions, which made exploring the area so convenient. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we would definitely stay here again!
We stayed here as a base to watch Scotland play Morocco in WC2026. This was the PERFECT location and the manager Dave went above and beyond all possible expectations to make our stay truly memorable. I have never met a more hospitable and fun manager. It felt like he was hosting us in his home - he cheered us on before the match, and commiserated with us afterwards. Despite the result (Scotland lost), our stay was wonderful and I would give this Marriott Courtyard (and Dave) 6 stars if I could.
The room was clean. Everything looked really nice. I just wish I had better options for breakfast in the morning not just a Starbucks but other than that it was great.
Sent to multiple rooms at check in.All were dirty, Shortage of housekeepers. very difficult for front drsk employees. Many unhappy guests. Overpriced. Location noisy. Traffic racing by all night! no on site restaurant, although brewery/pub next door just downstairs with excellent food and beer. Would not stay here again.
First of all, why would you charge your customers $38 a day to park? I can see maybe $10 if you’re gonna charge your customers to park their car but $38.Pull out sofa bed, most uncomfortable thing in the world probably sleep better if I slept on the floor, the reservations were for 3 people there's three people to one room and all there was was a pillow, one sheet one blanket to put on the pullout bed I need a top and bottom sheet to sleep with. It was so cold and the room thermostat didn’t work, I wish I had brought some socks to keep my feet warm. being on the seventh floor You would think it would be the quietest place to sleep it was the the noisiest place all you heard all night was loud cars trucks. I got up checking to see if the windows were open to see why it was so loud. Worst stay ever. Next year gotta make sure I got a room at the loft.
Poor customer service, room under construction, entire hallway floor littered with construction materials, no curtains in the room, zero useful amenities.
Clean room comfortable room. Easy check-in. Great location. Bartender was fantastic!!!

Staff were good, place has gone down hill over the years. I've been staying here for over 20 years. Not even a bottle of water in the room shower was the size of the closet with the shower head all the way to the left against the wall. Moved the bible under the night stand and you could see the clean around hasn't been moved since they put it there. Sunday morning construction on Easter sunday. Over priced for sure.
I booked a room with 2 Queen sized beds. I chose this hotel specifically because they had the double rooms available (the Omni, which is connected to the RI Convention Center did not). When we checked in, I was surprised to see we were given a room with only one bed. I was not told in advance, nor was I told at check-in. Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice? They said it was a computer glitch and they decided to give the single bed rooms to people who had 2 or fewer guests staying there. This hotel is a 2-3 block walk to the Convention Center. Had I known that they were going to give me a a room with only one bed, I would have stayed at the Omni. It was bitterly cold and windy. We had to walk over a few times a day. They did give us one day of free breakfast (we stayed 2 nights). Next time, I won't make the same mistake. I feel like it was a bait and switch. Other than that, the room was clean, but the entrance was under construction, which didn't look great. The little convenience store was closed.

Vacuum truck operating at property across the street before 7a for about 2 hours, it was very loud and disruptive to our quiet enjoyment.
