We liked the room for the price. There was no one at the desk after 7:00 or 8:00 pm. and not sure when they came in the morning. The staff that we did interact with were very pleasant. There was no cleaning service for the entire 3 nights that we were there. And under the bed had not been vacuumed/swept in a while (there was popcorn under it and we did not eat popcorn). The rest of the place was nice. Even though I understand that things break down, the hot tub was not working for half the time we were there. The pool was supposed to be heated but was only about 65 to 71 degrees F. They also had a few of the windows screwed open with there being a high wind and temp of about 30 to 40 degrees F. outside so the building was freezing. So we could not use the pool. The pool was nice and large with a great deep end but we weren't able to enjoy it. We also had to strip the beds ourselves and take out our own trash bags. If you didn't they would charge you a cleaning fee (at least it was implied). I would go back but at least I know what to expect, especially on the off season. And like I said not really their fault about the hot tub but

Front desk person was awesome I checked in 30 minutes early she was fun and upbeat. Location is just far enough outside of town not to be near the crowd but there is a shuttle as well as pedi cabs if you don’t want to deal with parking downtown.

We often travel to Provincetown from Providence for a night or two, and often stay at the Sandcastle Resort, which is excellent for an inexpensive yet comfortable getaway. The studio apartment is well designed and efficient. The murphy bed is comfortable. We upgraded to a beach view and enjoyed a magnificent sunset.
