The process of the authorization is we take the deposit upon check in, this is an authorization only, not a charge. When you check out if there isn't any damages, missing items, etc., we release the deposit. This means that the authorization disappears like it never happened. In the end, you should see no charge from Microtel Pueblo Southgate on your credit card. It's an auth and a drop. never a charge and refund. Please check again, you should see no transactions from the hotel directly. Thank you!

We were turning people away because we were sold out on this particular day. I am sorry that you did not see that a smoking room was booked, that was the last room availability at that time.
