Sonia and Alberto are wonderful hosts. Very welcoming, very helpful calling taxis and shuttles, providing recommendations, etc. Breakfast was excellent and it was fun visiting with guests from around the world.

Good location
The owner's are wonderful and helpful. The house is nice and the pool was fun. The bedroom and bath was small but in good condition. Perfect if you like a firm mattress and pillow. Great sheets.

We are very new to the B&B experience and had not realized that we were not booking in a small motel when we made the reservation. Right from the start, we found our hosts to be very welcoming and made us feel at home and relaxed.

Nettes B&B
wir waren mehrere Tage dort. Die Zimmer sind Zweckmäßig. Uns hat ein Tisch u. Stühle gefehlt. Heisses Wasser war nicht genug vorhanden. Denke die 4 anderen Zimmer hängen auch alle an einem kleinen Heisswassertank und dann ist er irgendwann leer. Strandhandtücher fehlten auch bei Nachfrage. Puerto Venturas ist sehr sehenswert und hat viele kleine nette Restaurant. wir empfehlen das B & B

Thanks for your review. We don't provide beach towels, for this reason we don't have it. Hot water is always available, no one reported it in the past weeks. If you need something just ask. Chairs and a table are in the private terrace of the suite room (your room) or in the patio (common area) Saludos

Very Nice Staff and very peaceful place.
Tbe best value for money to meet de Riviera Maya and not be tied to an all inclusive . It is best to rent a car to have the freedom to know every corner of tbe Riviera Maya . The "XPUHA" Beach is very close to Puerto Aventuras , for me the best in tbe zone.. Sonia and Alberto , the owners from Italy , are very helpful and give you all the Information to know the área.

Very nice Bed & Breakfast in a silent nice area
When we arrived the friendly hosts greeted us like friends and gave us plenty of good advices what to do and eat in the area. When we came to our room we noticed that for the first time since we left Europe it was actually silent, both in the room and outside. That is something that you usually don't find even in 5-star hotels on this side of the Atlantic. It is about 15 minute walk to the beach where you can put your towel anywhere. Or you can go to the Omni-hotel and buy a day-pass to be able to use the sun chairs, pools, umbrellas, restrooms and shower. The price for a day pass was 400 pesos but 300 of that can be used as credit in the bar and restaurants.

Sehr empfehlenswertes B&B
Wir haben uns während unserer Rundreise für zwei Übernachtungen in diesem B&B entschieden und können dieses wirklich weiterempfehlen. Es befindet sich in einer umzäunten Urlaubsanlage, feinsandiger Strand, Restaurants ud Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten (Delfinarium) finden sich in fußläufiger Nähe. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sauber, das Bett sehr groß. Es gab einen Swimmingpool. Das Frühstück umfasste frischen Saft, Toast mit Marmelade und Müsli. Die Betreiber waren unglaublich freundlich, gaben uns Reisetipps und wir fühlten uns wirklich gern aufgenommen. Gern wären wir auch länger geblieben!

Excellent plan pour Puerto Aventuras
3e visite à Puerto Aventuras, site que nous apprécions et première expérience en B&B. Somme toute satisfaisant. Bon petit déjeuner (oeufs, jus de fruits, etc). Chambre correcte, accueil sympathique. il faut marcher 5 minutes pour aller à la plage. Plusiuers alternatives en restauration à proximité. On y va pour le prix des chambres sans égal. nous avons eus deux chambres différentes au 2e avec salle de bain privée.

Un séjour inoubliable à recommander!
Nous avons passé trois nuits chez Alberto et Sonia. Ils sont adorables! Ils nous ont tout expliqué. Ils vivent dans une marina qui est entièrement securisee avec gardes à l'entrée. Une sorte de condominium ou de gated-community. C'est très calme et le cadre est magique. On peut se ballader, voir les dauphins et les otaries, boire un verre ou manger dans un des nombreux restos. Pour visiter les alentours nous avions loué une voiture donc il y avait plein de sites à voir dans un rayon de 20km. Tout était parfait. Le petit déjeuner excellent! Et Sonia et Alberto toujours là pour nous donner de précieux conseils...

Nice b&b run by lovely couple
Nice, homey alternative to the big resorts. Very good location and very close to the restaurants in the area. Breakfast was simple toast and eggs. We didn't read our booking closely enough and didn't realize there was a shared bathroom, but we are not picky and it was fine and quite clean. Only very minor complaint would be there were only 1 pair of towels provided (and no hand towels) and no bath mat to dry off your feet outside the shower.

Pleasant and peaceful B&B
Jolee and I stayed here 6 nights for an amazing great price. I will be coming back and with friends next time. You are walking distance from all the restaurants, beaches, and dolphins. If you purchase any of the Xcarat (i would also highly recommend) packages, you will have to walk to the dreams resort which is about a 5 minute walk. The owners of this B&B are great individuals and very helpful and knowledgable about the area. We were having issues getting our taxi on the way back to the airport and Sonia spent her time talking with the taxi staff. Thanks again.

We enjoyed the location. The B&B was a little disappointing. The outside areas were not maintained. The pool was cloudy and appeared dirty. The lounge chairs were dirty cracked and unusable. There was no grass in the backyard around the pool, as it appeared in the picture, just dirt and brown grass. screens were in need of repair. Not a good value, since now they are renting the room for half of what we paid.

the pool is clean, we can't have a dirty pool!! the lounge chairs are ok no grass is due to the wether, it doesn't rain from january and of course it's difficult to have a green garden...we'd ask to natural power to let rain! screen what do u mean??hope to don't see u again...

Comfortable room in a nice house
This is a small B&B in the gated community of Puerto Aventuras. It is a very quiet and safe tourist area with many upscale restaurants and amenities. Our room was spacious and clean with a huge bed (we stayed in the standard cenote king). The shared bathroom was never a problem with our neighbors. The decor is modern and comfortable. Breakfast is very simple: toast/croissants, eggs, juice, coffee. The location was quite difficult for our taxi driver to find, because it looks like a normal house from the outside and the street numbers and signs are small. It would be helpful to have a photo of the exterior prior to arrival. It is worth it to arrange the airport transport for $65, especially if you have more than one traveler in your party.

Es como estar en casa.
Estar en Villas Picalu es como estar en casa. La amabilidad y la buena disposición de los dueños te hacen sentir como si fueras parte de la familia. Puerto aventuras era un lugar desconocido para mi hasta ahora. El lugar está estrategicamente colocado cerca de los parques de diversiones, del aeropuerto y de playa del carmen. Realmente puedes descansar pues no hay ruido por la noche de vehiculos. La casa tiene un cenote natural y alberca. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y cómodas. Hay mucha seguridad e incluso dentro del mismo complejo encuentras todo lo necesario para divertirte, incluso hasta playa pública.

Great place, great people in Central Location
I stayed there for 6 days in January 2015. Wonderful place in a very central Area south of Playa del Carmen. Alberto and Sonia are very friendly and helped me unravel the collectivo system and book a trip. They are a wealth of information. The room is kept very clean and it has all the things you would need. It is a great place to explore the Mayan Riviera from. The shared bathroom was never a problem and the bed was comfortable. Puerto Aventuras was different than I expected. It is sort of a gated enclave for Hotels, time shares and private Homes for Westerners. Their are restaurants, Marinas a golf course, dolphin swim place and an OXO convenience store all within walking distance.

Safe and friendly and quiet
Antonio made us feel at home. This is their first bed-and-breakfast experience. The location is across from the marina and a two minute walk to practically anything in this community. Breakfast included toast, croissants, cake cereal and Fridays if you wish. The coffee was horrible but I am fussy. Lol. The pillows definitely upgrading. It was rather hard, but I find that a lot in Mexico. We had a private deck which was fairly large, Located on the second floor. Catalonia hotel resort down the way let us go to their own inclusive from 11 AM to 6 PM for $45 per person which we thought was pretty good. Taxis are quite expensive $30 into Playa del Carmen each way. You can walk outside the gate and catch a bus into town for two dollars US which we didn't know about at first so I don't know the stops. The taxi from Cancun was $82 US

Nette Unterkunft an der Riviera Maya
Umgeben von Golfanlagen und Hotelresorts, liegt dieses kleine B&B Haus. Preis-Leistung ist super. Alberto kümmert sich um seine Gäste. Villas Picalu hebt sich wohltuend von den umliegenden Hotels ab.

King bed sofa
The place was great and the owner was very nice! The only bad thing I have to say is that the sofa bed was really uncomfortable. The king bed on the other end, was perfect!

Lugar muy agradable, bonito y cerca de la playa.
El único problema que tuvimos fue que al encender el climatizador cayó una cucaracha justo en la cama, y fue incómodo estar debajo del clima durmiendo.

great place for a great price
This B&B was a great. Located right in the middle of the gated community, it provided close access to multiple beaches, restaurants, activities etc. Things are keep simple here and breakfast was always there when you needed it. A great deal not to be passed up.

Picalu Perfecto
Beautiful house very homely! Gorgeous room, lots of storage and comfy bed. Couldn't wait to explore the resort where Picalu was based. Only 5 minutes walk to the beach which was absolutely stunning. At lunch we used the convenience store oxox and at night time we tasted lovely food served in the restaurants. At Piculu our room and shared bathroom was cleaned every day. Breakfast was served every day and we enjoyed that it wasn't a fixed time although we never had it later than 930! We enjoyed sitting down to breakfast with other guests around the dining table. Alberto was very attentive and was able to provide us with any information if we required it. We also booked a tour to Chitchen Itza which was reasonably priced! Picalu really was the perfect base to explore Mexico, we had the option of staying inside the complex or exploring other parts of Mexico using Public Transport ( the bus and collectivo stop was directly outside the complex)
