First, the food was amazing as other reviewers have noted. If food is your thing, this is a great resort for you. We enjoyed food more than any other trip, although we traveled more for the expertise, which was overall good. The activities, amenities, and on resort options were confusing at times with the front desk communicating one thing, staff reporting another, and then at times there was no activity at all. The menus were sent via WhatsApp but turned out to be inaccurate (which really didn’t matter to us because all the food was amazing). Bar menus were not accurate either although there still were many options. Cleanliness throughout was fine enough. The “good” parts were made up for by the “amazing” food.

The language barrier made communication very difficult. We have a child with a severe allergy and getting clarification on the menu was near impossible. No hot water in our room the entire trip , room had horribly musty smell. The food was not very good. The staff communicates using “ what’s app” However never responds. The front of the resort was in a very unsafe area. Will not return. The air conditioning in the “ gym” was broke the entire week and the temperature was 94 degrees. Very run down. Could be great. Coffee shop was good. The staff was friendly for the most part.
