Hotel was clean. Plenty of staff cleaning and maintaining the property. Room was clean at arrival and cleaned daily during stay. Pool, water park, dinners, restaurants and theater were in great shape and cleaned every time a guest left the premises. Housekeeping, guest service, pool, water park, beach and dinning staff (dinner and restaurants) were respectful, helpful and friendly. They always tried to please us. Food was great (dinner and restaurants). We loved the beach and the water park. Juan De La Rosa from guest services was extremely helpful, welcoming and took great care of us. We were treated as family by him and his staff. The experience was amazing and I recommend this hotel without reserves.

Need to upgrade to diamond club. Definitely book the beach cabana for your entire stay. Tip the beach chair, and beach bar servers well and you will have a fantastic beach experience.

We transferred to Royalton Punta Cana after a terrible experience with our original resort, and the difference was night and day. I cannot express enough appreciation and thanks for Jeifry, the front desk manager, and Claritzel in guest services for helping us feel welcomed, and assisted us with getting everything set up last minute so we could enjoy the rest of our honeymoon. I would recommend Royalton Punta Cana for anyone traveling to Punta Cana!

Can’t get into certain restaurants as they are fully booked apparently. However if you go listen to some sort of presentation then all of a sudden seating is available.

Shared spaces like the beach and pool were fantastic, and our 2 young kids enjoyed it. Room had some repair issues like a ripped couch and a broken glass table, that caused some safety concerns. Getting a dinner reservation at the nicer restaurants was a major challenge, but luckily we had an assigned consierge that was amazing!! He helped get us reservations when the app said sold out, and also helped arrange a taxi for a snorkel trip an hour off property. Food in general was not great, but drinks were quality and overall we had a nice stay.

Food at the buffet could be better. Our butler Kelvin is truly an amazing person!! I misplaced my cell phone and he was able to track it down for me, he booked dinner reservations and excursions for us. He is sooo wonderful!! Highly recommend him and the resort !!!

We had a great time, the staff was very helpful in making our stay aweome. Everyone from Juan at check in making sure everyone went smooth and stress free to Jancey taking checking in to make sure we had everything we needed on a daily basis and Hugo at the pool bar keeping my drinks full. I highly recommend going to DR and staying at the Royalton Punta Cana.

El trato excelente del 95% del staff del hotel, siempre hay sus excepciones pero eso no empañó nuestra experiencia y expectativas. From the point of arrival, we’ve been welcomed as if we were family. The staff member Lenny upon arrival was fantastic to introduce us to the resort and give us a nice tutorial of the area and giving us great insight about our room and what was included with our package, to also always being so pleasant to speak with when running into at times during our stay. Ernesto, who was appointed to us as our main source of contact was amazing. He booked meals, ensured we were enjoying our time and assisted us in pointing us in the right direction to book excursions with my family was extremely professional and classy and very family oriented. He made us feel comfortable the entire time. Julio in the buffet area is a very nice, energetic, polite man that always went out of his way to say hello and welcome us even if we sat elsewhere he wasn’t serving. Santa, who I know works for Royalton excursions is such a sweet, polite and full of life individual and was amazing to deal with when booking our excursions to even taking care of my son who burnt his shoulders and made sure he was taken care of by providing an ointment that helped him heal and enjoy his time. Our overall experience was amazing and I’m pleased to say we left knowing when we come back we’re going to another home. Love the people, love the resort and love Dominican. God bless everyone that works there and I can not wait to return.

Beach staff were great for the diamond class. Butler was meh. Never got our free bottle of spirits despite asking several times. The promised diamond class beach bag also never appeared, so diamond class just wasn’t worth the money. It was a bit of a con. Cleaning staff great. The food just ruined the holiday. Buffets were barely warm. Got food poisoning from the Chinese. Steakhouse the saving grace. Would not return
