"The standard of the property is very high and set back on a hillside was actually a nice change from the beach. Wifi was ok and just a 5-10 minute drive to Sengiggi party places. The only downside was a 10am checkout which is pretty unusual in Lombok, especially when it is a requirement to pretty much clean the place up of rubbish and dishes before departure. If we are cleaning why a 10am checkout?"

"Hotel has seen some life over the years, so could do with a bit of refurb (rooms). But the outside area, garden, pool etc is really nice. You spend most pf the time outside and its lovely there. Pool - big; Palm trees - all around; Right on the sea front - yes. They have daily activities, most are for kids but still a bonus. Gym is quite small but is open 24/7 so you can use it whenever. Staff are of course great. Hotel gives off ‘white lotus - hawaii’ vibes, but in a good way. Breakfast is good, enough choice for everyone, both indonesian or continental style. Dinners (we had half board) were limited from actual ‘payable’ menu, but still good enough. Had new dish each night. Location - interesting. Most hotels in senggigi closed some time ago, so only handfull of big ones remain. It is very different to Kuta in the south. The nature is picturesque going up north, so worth it. Take a bike to bangsal and have 5min fast public boat to gili islands."

"We recently spent a week at the Chandi and loved every minute of it. From our initial booking Widiya was incredibly kind and helpful. Arranging airport transport for us, a late check in and two very enjoyable snorkelling trips to the Gilis and secret Gilis. The villas are beautiful, very spacious, very clean, there is fresh drinking water, coffee machine, everything you need and it is neat and tidy. We had one of the ocean view rooms and it was so beautiful to lay in bed and look out at the pool and ocean. The food is fantastic and I think well priced for the service and quality. A lot of it is made fresh on site ( bread, pastries, cakes, sourdough bases). Both the Indonesian food and western food were great. We had delicious meals every single time. The included breakfast is very generous with a really wide range of choices. Can’t complain about a 2 hours of 2 for 1 cocktails during sunset either! Not a bad thing but the resort itself is not in Senggigi central so you just need to be prepared to either walk, bike or arrange transport to most places. Which is very easy to do. It makes for a nice, quiet stay and some forced relaxation. You can swim or snorkel out the front of the beach but it is not a white sand beach and there is a reef as well so it’s better suited to those who are competent swimmers. The hotel provides reef booties and snorkelling gear."

"We had an excellent stay in the Sasak Garden and we really enjoyed the spacious room, clean bathroom and the hotel's swimming pool. This hotel has a very nice and lively garden with loads of birds, flowers, palm trees and colorful insects just minding their own business - and this is so relaxing to just spectate chilling in the pool. There is also a gym, which was a nice addition as I had a short workout with a kettle bell at some point. They helped us with renting a scooter and arranging a transfer to the Bangsal Harbor on our leave for a very good price. A fast WiFi was also reliable and we could connect to our Netflix account on the TV with no problem. Thank you so much for hosting us!"

"Loved our stay at Sunset House! The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided. The bathroom was very large, water pressure and temperature was nice! The swimming pool was great and right by the beach. Beautiful sunset with a view of the volcano on Bali. What stood out the most was the friendly staff! They were extremely accommodating in helping us extend our night and went above and beyond for whatever we needed. We were able to order room service and the food was very tasty and fresh. There are 2 mini marts and a good pizza shop also nearby. The street was not loud or busy. Breakfast was included and served by the pool with a beach view. They had a smart TV and we were able to log into steaming platforms. Very good price for a room that had everything we needed. I would love to stay here again!"
