Room was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The elevator was out of order and since we were on the top floor, they carried our luggage both to and from our rooms.
The hotel is a grand old building with a beautiful curved staircase, crown moulding, and even an original wall painting in our mini suite. This is architecture that you don't get in chain hotels.

Absolutely Charming Stay in Stratford!
I recently stayed in the new Cottage Room at the Perth County Inn, and it was pure delight from start to finish. The space feels like a peaceful retreat — beautifully decorated in cozy cottage style with thoughtful touches everywhere. The full kitchen and spacious bath made it feel like a home away from home, while the river view added a touch of magic — especially in the morning light!
It’s just minutes from all the theatres, yet tucked away enough to offer complete peace and quiet after the show. Whether you’re visiting Stratford for theatre, relaxation, or a romantic getaway, this is truly a perfect spot. I can’t wait to come back!

Staff are fantastic. Check in was simple. Lots of stairs to get to the rooms and the bathroom is on the second level loft area removed from the bed area. Clean and well organized. Only drawback was the smell in the hallways like old smoke smell. Overall unique rooms and stay. Enjoyed the restaurant / bar attached below. Good food.
