Well-maintained facility by the hard-working family that runs the Putney Inn. Rooms were clean and quiet. They accommodated a very late check-in without complaint. Great value for money. Only reason it's not a 4 star is that there is some normal wear and tear on the property. But overall I highly recommend it.

Parking was available and easy, and it felt safe. Breakfast was slightly limited (boiled eggs, for example, would be a welcome breakfast item to enjoy with toast and the good coffee), but the fresh waffle was delicious, as well as the fruit and yogurt. It's clear the owners are refurbishing this motel right off I-91 in Putney, VT. The bathrooms are freshly tiles, wooden floors replace wall to wall carpet, new lighting and thermo pane sliding doors. If you need a bed on a long drive, support these folks. Putney Food Coop is just up the road for great coffee and a wide choice of food.
