Potable à faible coût
Les employés ont été très courtois, aimable et serviable. Le menage est fait quotidiennement mais ne pas déplacer les meubles. Lorsque nous sommes arrivé nous ne savions pas qu’il fallait s’enregistrer à l’hotel derrière. Il nous a fallu chercher l’info auprès d’autres voyageurs. Nous avions réservé pour 5. (3 enfants) rendu sur place il nous ont aviser qu’il ne fournissait pas de lit d’appoint pour le motel. Selon ma réservation il était inclus. Nous avons donc improvisé. Le frigidaire congelait les aliments. Il n’y a pas de moustiquaire dans la fenêtre de la salle de bain n’a pas de moustiquaire et aucune « fan » dans celle-ci ppur evacuer l’humidité. Ceci dit : piscine propre et chauffé. À pied du great escape, mini putt, crémerie en face. La salle de bain était propre et on a passé un agréable séjour malgré les quelques problèmes. Je vous conseil le restaurant Olive’s Garden et d’apporter un petit BBQ pour manger, il n’y a pas beaucoup de qualité alimentaire dans le secteur.

Walking distance from The Great Escape. Clean, quiet motel. More affordable than most motels in Lake George area but its still a good quality motel. WiFi was excellent.

What a cute motel! Our room (#23) felt like a little cabin! Very friendly staff, great pool and super comfortable beds! Keep in mind that this is not the Ritz so if that is what you are looking for, don’t stay here and then complain about it!!!! It is like an old fashioned motel and honestly, it was nice to stay at a place that was so down to earth and basic. Perfect location. Will definitely stay here again!

Love the property and location. It was conveniently located right next to six flags. Surprisingly you really didn’t hear the roller coasters or crowd. The only dislike I have is at night the insects bite you tremendously, I recommend that you bring tons of mosquito spray.

Family vacation
The room looked exactly like the picture. Taylor called me the morning we were checking in to tell me the room was ready if we wanted to come earlier. Pool was clean, kids really enjoyed it. They even recommended their favorite places to eat, area attractions. Fridge was bigger than I expected, microwave was very convenient .

Just outside of lake George
Amazing location. 5 minute walk to Six Flags. Across the street from amazing ice cream. Multiple mini golf places are a few minute walk away. Room itself was okay. Very dated, clean tho. Bathroom had a pocket door with no lock, and there were a few cosmetic issues

Clean & well situated
It's a motel right next to an amusement park, however the beds were comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The room also had a mini fridge and a microwave for easy catering. Plus, if you visited on a hot day, the room had an AC unit. The location was convenient. The motel was a short drive to Lake George, and directly across the street from Martha's Dandee Creme, a local institution. Over all it was a nice place to stay, albeit a bit pricey.

Great location in walking distance to Great Escape and across the road from Martha's ice cream shop. It could use some updating but the rooms were very clean and everyone was very helpful. We really enjoyed the pool too. will definitely go back.

Quaint roadside inn - clean & comfy. Staff gave area dining suggestions that were spot on. Bathroom could do with some updating but was kept clean. Kids loved the pool. Staff was courteous and responded to requests very quickly.

Nice hotel but obnoxious neighbors
The hotel was great. I would stay there again. I was very disappointed however with the people staying next door. They were loud until around 2am. I asked them to please keep the noise down and they laughed at me and continued being loud.

Great place to stay!
Our stay was very good! The staff were excellent! So friendly and welcoming! The room was very nice and clean!!! My only complaint would be that the bed wasn’t very comfortable. But we really enjoyed our stay here!

Very charming and well kept old school motel the staff was friendly and helpful. Right at the gate of the great escape Truely walking distance. Kids likes it that they could see the roller coasters from the pool.

1st and last time
we stayed 4 days 1st the pool is not heated (my bad didnt check ) there is no BBQ wich they say there is, when they did the room they didnt empty the garbage they didnt change the dirty towels they just hang them on the towel holder . didnt see any cleaning solutions to at least clean the bath. the bathroom door is a sliding door that is hard to close and has no lock first night it was cold but the heating did not work ,the wifi works but is intermittent there is no phone in the room and when you check in you sometimes have to go to the hotel next door because they dont have someone there in attendance

I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Our pool is heated, so I appreciate you bringing this to our attention so that we can be sure there are no problems with it. And, we do have a BBQ located in the right corner of the parking lot, near the picnic tables. Nice clean rooms, but dated
This was a good place to stay. The rooms are large and have a coffee pot, mini-fridge and microwave (except our room service kept forgetting to replenish the coffee!). It is old, so expect dated bathrooms with small showers (width wise, kept hitting the curtain every time I moved my arms.) The AC worked wonderfully and the room was clean. The staff was super nice. There is a pool but it is outdoors and not heated, so it was a bit chilly, but you can use the indoor/outdoor pool and hottub at the hotel just up the hill so that worked out well (we used it every day!). A good value in the area, especially since it is just a quick walk to Six Flags and several other attractions like mini golf, and it has a great place to eat right across the street.

I usually stay at the Country Inn which is above Wakita. I was pleasantly surprised how clean the room was and the fact that they called to ask what time I would be checking in. They wanted to make sure that the room was ready since they were full. The woman I spoke to was quite pleasant and accommodating. The motel provided toiletries the first night but the were not replenished. Not a big deal since I wasn't really planning on them providing any. Our room had two double beds, tv, microwave and a refridgerator. It was clean and tidy upon arrival. There weren't any tissues and this was an issue for my mother (not so much for myself). The location was what I was looking for as it is right next to the Great Escape. Surprisingly once the Great Escape closes, the motel is very quiet. I would definitely stay at th Wakita again.

The website said 24h front desk but we arrived at 11 pm and there was no one at the front desk, no cars and no light anywhere near the Motel. We went to the Hotel nearby and they had our key, but they did not know when the check out was nor the wifi password for the Motel. The room was ok. The bathroom sink dripped. The room looked liked it was clean 1 week ago.

It is an older motel. But very clean. It's quiet except the park is next door so you are gonna hear the flashback! I called for an early check in, she did the best she could. Allowed me to park there while I went to six flags, and check in after. The Ac unit didn't seem like it was working right. I informed the desk lady that the bathroom door (a pocket door) wasn't closing right. We were only staying 1 night so not a big deal. I didn't mind that it was dated, because it was super clean. I would suggest that they consider replacing the shower rods with the bowed kind. The narrow shower made it uncomfortable showering with the curtain touching you. I would stay here again.

Bad location, horrible condition
The motel is right next to a roller coaster. The ground shakes every time it goes through. You can hear people screaming in the roller coaster. The room had many broken pieces: Bathroom door is a sliding closet door with a broken lock. The bathtub was falling apart. The bed legs were falling apart. The heaters had metal pieces that were falling off. Other issues: The given key doesn't work with the deadbolt. Old CRT TV. There was trash in the room floor under the bed. For $160 a night, I would expect much better than this.

Not worth the money !!
The room cleaner was top notch !! But there was no phone in the room, no dinning guide for the area !! The floor was really spongy, there was hole on the bathroom wall, where there was a missing tile !! No hair dryer or GFI plug in the bathroom!! The pool rope was missing screws to keep it hooked to the side of the pool !!

Will never stay again
It was the worse stay every. Spent over $330 for two nights. Ac didn't work sink leaked all over floor. Tub was all craked and peeled paint. Then around 11pm we had people tring to get in our room because the hotel double booked our room.

It was ok. The rooms were outdated and dingy but the pool was nice and we weren't in the room a lot anyway. Brown stuff came out of the faucet in the tub. I would not stay here again.

I would come back. It's in a great location and the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. There are some downers. You have to check in up the hill at the country inn and suits. My bed frame was a little broken (but I never told anyone either they may have been able to fix) the place was a little out dated and the bathroom was all cracked up. There were some nice things, the beds were comfy, it does have w fridge and microwave. The location is perfect for great escape people. It's located across from Martha's which is now my most favorite place for creemee's :) I would stay again but probably not for the price I paid. It was a bit too much for what I paid (268 for two nights) again great staff and it was clean, which was very important to me. Over all i would give a 3.5 stars. No breakfast and there is wifi but I couldn't get it to connect

Cozy...prime location. Loved the pool!
Will return & recommend for others! Staff was very accommodating & friendly. For the price you can't go wrong!
