As towns go, skip this one. Go to Filandia, Circasia, or Salento. Better options. Much more traditional, and better kept.

The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet but the food is not as good as I expected. The service was excellent, the shows were entertaining and fun. The herradura restaurant was great. If the food was of better quality the hotel would be a 5 stars

The place looks nice, but the arrival is terrible — the road has no lighting and is poorly maintained, although the staff is friendly. When I went to rest, I found hair on the bed and a dead cockroach in the bathroom, along with another one crawling on the walls. They moved me to another room that ...

Room was clean, good location, safe neighborhood. The breakfast buffet was disappointing, when the food is gone they don’t replenish it, if you go around 9:15 - 9:30 you don’t find many items and the became a basic breakfast.

Pros: Overall, it is a nice place to stay. Close to Panaca, huge room, beautiful nature around. The best of thiss place is Sandra (the host) who is extremely kind, helpful and cooks a delicious breakfast. Cons: Limited offer and schedule in the restaurant. No bar in the room. We loved Villa Salento Boutique Apartments. The room was large and clean. The grounds are beautiful. And, we really liked the location. It’s a short walk to town and really quiet.

You don't need to go to Armenia. Instead I will recommend to stay in a small town and really enjoy the magic of the coffee culture in Colombia.
