Fantastic experience in the off-season, and they were kind enough to provide space heaters while the fireplace/heating was under renovation (which they gave us plenty of warning about and even upgraded our rooms!)
We loved the location right on the lake. The backyard area was beautiful overlooking the lake with a bar and restaurant. There were family games like corn hole and lasso golf, so quiet and relaxing

Breathtaking scenery in a historic lodge. Excellent service
The fireplace room was an excellent blend of outdoor view and a cheerful fireplace. We liked having a full shower ( not just a bath/shower combo). The property was peaceful and scenic.
We were so disappointed that there was no breakfast service…not even fruit & a muffin. No lobby coffee available…minimal services.
Lobby room was disheveled…games, puzzles old & unkempt.
What an incredible stay. The ground were beautiful overlooking the serene, crystal clear Lake Quinault surrounded by immense tall evergreens. Spacious room overlooking lake with fireplace and clean, modern bathroom. Cozy lobby with large fireplace and wooden beams makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time—in a good way. A perfect stay!
Gorgeous setting, friendly staff. The whole place is pretty mid - rooms are small, seating in common areas is limited, pool is questionably clean. We had a nice time but overall would give a 3 out of 5 starts. The rain forest is the draw and a do not miss!
Nice gift shop, but incomplete sizes of garments. The historical ambience was wonderful. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet and dinner service.

This is a beautiful old lodge. The staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The main issue is the age of the lodge and the fact that they deal with heating issues. The main area of the lodge was cold and, though they upgraded us to a room with heat (main lodge rooms didn’t have any), the heater worked sporadically. Restaurant (while cold) had great food and service.
Can't beat the location: fantastic view and walkable trails—charming lodge, clean and with all the amenities except wifi, which is limited to 90 minutes. Food and lodging costs are expensive, but given the isolated location, it's understandable. I recommend it!
There is the old, original lodge built in the 1920s, which we stayed in and was very charming. They also have newer wings with more up to date amenities. There are lots of trails easily accessible from the lodge that feature old growth rain forests covered in moss. These woods are just as magnificent as the Hoh Rainforest, and far less crowded.

Hotel could use some remodeling and the walls are very thin. But a beautiful location.
The 1920’s building brought me back in time. The lobby was cozy and comfortable with a large fireplace. The dinner at the Roosevelt restaurant was delicious, the only disappointment was it was too big to finish.
