Absolutely love this area. My only complaints are the walls at lodge are paper thin and we could clearly hear the guy in the room next to us snoring and not a ton of reasonably priced meal ootions

"Can't beat the location: fantastic view and walkable trails—charming lodge, clean and with all the amenities except wifi, which is limited to 90 minutes. Food and lodging costs are expensive, but given the isolated location, it's understandable. I recommend it!"

"The next door neighbors had very squeaky door and another neighbor had a barking dog. Once we got used to those noises, we enjoyed the room. The very long stairway to the beach closes at dusk because the steps have not lighting. However, the very wide beach is beautiful!!"

Gatton falls was an easy hike. Merriman Falls was even more spectacular and it is right off of the road. Don't miss the largest spruce tree next to the property.
