I grew up in Elma and was hoping for a calm get away with a stop at Smitty's for a burger and fries.






Everything was fine but when we unfolded the couch to make the bed there was 1 black crusty sock sitting there. And 1 dog who constantly barked when the owners left the room(quite often)

Our room was not ready still at the check in time of 4.00 pm! Once we finally were able to to check in we had to call the front desk for towels and coffee that was not restocked! This place is no longer open. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone after arriving and finding it closed. Ruined our whole night downtime and went in circles with Expedia customer support for hours.

Beautiful and interesting place to visit. With lovely old wooden houses. Magnificent landscapes.
Fishing on the Chehalis river with Dave's Guide was awesome!!
Quite town. Close to the fair grounds. 30 mins from the Ridge Motor Sports Park on the back roads.
Make sure to eat at El Ranchon. While it is typical Mexican restaurant fare, the staff is always very pleasant and the food (and margaritas) are good.
