5/5 - Excellent
Absolutely love this area. My only complaints are the walls at lodge are paper thin and we could clearly hear the guy in the room next to us snoring and not a ton of reasonably priced meal ootions

Breathtaking scenery in a historic lodge. Excellent service

Always a scenic and great time staying here. Periodic Guest for over 20 years. Staff is great, food excellent, all-in-all wonderful.

The most comfortable bed and quiet room we’ve had in a hotel in about a year. Breakfast could have been a bit better (wet eggs and shut down half hour early). Overall atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.

The room itself was very clean and comfortable. It had a bit of strong smell--not bad, just strong and somewhat spicy/woody. It is a wooden cabin after all so I'm assuming maybe it's from that. Worthwhile hiking.
Gatton falls was an easy hike. Merriman Falls was even more spectacular and it is right off of the road. Don't miss the largest spruce tree next to the property.
The Mercantile is nothing like it used to be. The owner was rude. We will only use the rainforest site from now on.
Great place to relax and take in the sights.
This area is incredibly beautiful and well worth the drive.
