"Great stay everyone was nice and when I booked my room it only showed smoking rooms available so I took a chance I'm not a smoker but when we got to our room you could smell smoke which I figured we would so I just asked the from desk if they had any non smoking rooms that were going to be open and they got us one without a problem !!! "We were on a road trip and looking for somewhere unique to stay that wasn't a cookie-cutter interstate chain hotel. The McCleary Hotel fit the bill. It's a charmingly weird old place with lots of character. The room was comfortable, the shared bathrooms were clean, and the staff was nice. Can't ask for more than that. We spent the evening chillin' by their gas fire pit in the backyard, and appreciated the coffee and pastries in the morning. If you're looking for a luxury hotel with all the high-end amenities, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a genuinely unique place to stay and enjoy some living history, this is your spot."
