Único es el servicio y el personal del hotel. No me gustó la habitación, todo se escucha, ruidos en el baño, desde la puerta se veía la luz de la otra habitación, la cama era incómoda y el baño pequeño e incómodo.

Friendly slightly quirky hotel
Enjoyed our stay at vieja cuba which has an interesting style and staff are very friendly. Room allocated was not as large as indicated in photo by Hotels.com. Breakfast good but not extensive and plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby

Lovely hotel and excellent service.
This is a lovely house with many traditional features still. No stairs to get to the upstairs room but the girl on reception very kindly helped me with my heavy case up the stairs. I didn’t get her name but she was so so helpful and friendly during our stay - even helping us to arrange a food delivery when all the nearby restaurants were closed one evening on the public holiday. The room was clean, quiet and what we needed. The local area felt safe and we were happy to walk around nearby.

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean. We felt safe at the hotel. Dining options short walk nearby. Great breakfast-eggs, cereal, fruit. The staff was very attentive to our needs. We had an early check out and they provided us with a light breakfast to take with us.

Solid, comfortable stay
Convenient location - centrally located (walkable) to coffee shops and restaurants, other neighborhoods. Room and hotel, in general, was very clean and cozy. The room was a bit small for two people and our suitcases, but we made it work! Staff were extremely helpful and willing to assist as needed with taxis, recommending restaurants, or storing our luggage for a few hours after checkout. Overall, we found the place to meet our needs.

O hotel éais uma pousada charmosa, com quarto grande, boa localização e cafe da manhã simples. O quarto era escuro, falta iluminação e o chuveiro é muito fraco.

The front desk was so helpful calling restaurants for us, arranging taxis, and sending out our laundry; I can't say enough good things about the service here. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet but there were plenty of places to eat nearby; don't miss Selina Coffeeshop on Diego de Almagro!

Top notch! Best hotel experience I've had in years. Super helpful staff who went above and beyond...ordered taxis, food delivery, printed out covid test results. Great breakfast with eggs, toast, fresh fruit, fresh juice, yoghurt, cereal. Clean rooms beautifully appointed. Extra safe with locked gate.

Enjoyed three nights here and loved our room - #11. It is two levels with the king bed on second level. There is a small balcony between the levels. Very good service. The woman working at the front desk even provided a small snack for the van the morning we did an early tour. Also, she arranged taxi several times. Great hotel. Highly recommend for quaintness and service.

Service Beyond Excellent
Who could have guessed that we would discover the standard for service above excellence in Ecuador? Jose’ helped us find food, stay safe, get taxis, negotiate COVID requirements, print results, make and serve breakfast and much more. He was always friendly and patient, and took a sincere interest in us. We simply cannot express how he made us so welcome. The Veija Cuba Hotel has true charm and the restaurant area is warm and welcoming. Who would want to stay in a standard cubicle in a name brand hotel when one can stay in a beautifully renovated Quito mansion? I should also mention that the price is an really great value.

O hotel é limpo, atendimento eficaz e ótimo, fica próximo a praça Foch com muitas bares e restaurantes. Só o wifi que não é muito bom, dependendo do quarto o sinal não pega, somente na recepção. O café da manhã é bom, com frutas, iogurte, cereal, ovos e suco. O quarto é grande e excelente, seria melhor ainda se no banheiro fosse box no lugar de cortinas. A recepção tem um atendimento muito simpático, sempre prontos a atender bem. No último dia nos deixarão um vinho de presente, adoramos o mimo. E quando voltarmos novamente com toda certeza nos hospedaremos lá.

Gerente Daniela extremamente indelicada, desatenta e grosseira. Antes, por email, solicitei um transfer do aeroporto ao hotel, o que foi confirmado. Horas antes de chegar enviei nova mensagem apenas para reforcar e a surpresa foi chegar no aeroporto e nao ter ninguem nos esperando. Tivemos que contratar alguem na hora para ir ao hote. Já instalados, pedimos ao hotel indicação de um guia para fazermos o passeio do Quilotoa. No dia combinado veio um taxista (e nao um guia conforme eu havia pedido), e que nao conhecia o caminho, mas so descobrimos depois de 2:30 na estrada. Motorista nao conhecia a estrada, nunca havia estado no vulcão, nao tinha GPS e por pouco nao ficamos sem gasolina na estrada. Total irresponsabilidade do motorista e tambem de quem indicou o guia. A tal da gerente Daniela nao falou uma palavra conosco nem pra pedir desculpas pelo ocorrido quando chegamos de volta ao hotel, nem nos dias depois do ocorrido. Não só não conseguimos chegar ao Quilotoa como perdemos boa parte do dia nesta confusão, alem de ter sido nossa única oportunidade de fazer o passeio em Quito. Esta “profissional” jamais deveria estar a frente de operacao turistica alguma. Nao sabe lidar com turistas, nao tem postura e é de uma falta de educação impensável. Todos os demais funcionários sao gentis e prestativos, mas infelizmente a “gerente” faz o hotel ser um local que eu jamais recomendaria a alguem a hospedagem. Horrivel.

Estimada Cliente muchas gracias por su comentario, el cual es muy importante para nosotros , nos encontramos trabajando frecuentemente para que este tipo de situaciones no se repitan y pedimos mil disculpas por cualquier inconveniente que haya podido tener, esperamos de igual manera haya podido aceptar nuestra pequeña cortesia junto con la que expresamos nuestras disculpas por lo sucedido y la cual fue dejada en su habitacion en la noche de ese mismo dia, talvez hubiera sido mejor hacerlo personalmente , sin embargo estamos al tanto de la situacion y hemos procedido de la manera correcta para que no vuelva a suceder. Nuevamente ofrecemos mil disculpas.

Oppholdet mitt var veldig bra. God service og frokost, og hyggelig personale. Rommet var fint og rent. Hotellet ligger 500 meter unna Plaza Foch, som er langt nok til at det ikke er sjenerende støy fra nattklubbene selv i helgene. Det eneste minuset var at lydisoleringen mellom rommene er litt dårlig, så man hører det hvis naboene er høylytte.

Está muy bonito, acogedor, mega limpio. Cama confortable. Ponen pocas amenidades de baño. El desayuno delicioso. La atención de Maria la mesera inigualable. El personal de recepción siempre atento a ayudar. Sugiero que el desayuno inicie a las 6 am ya que la mayoría de los tours te recogen a las 7 am y no alcanzas a comer nada antes. Buena ubicación del hotel cerca dd muchos restaurantes y un supermercado.

Estimada Rocio muchas gracias por su comentario, el cual es muy importante para nosotros , trabajaremos en sus sugerencias ya nuestro principal interes que nuestros clientes se sientan como en casa , sin embargo en cuanto al servicio de desayuno tenemos las opciones de tomar desayuno continental o llevar un desayuno empacado si usted necesita el servicio antes de la hora establecida talvez no le fue informado pero trajajaremos en ello tambien para que eso no suceda nuevamente. saludos

Horrible service. You expect the hotel to be one thing by the photos and you get something else in reality.

Beautiful, small hotel. The staff was great and very helpful. The only thing that was a bit annoying was a club down the street that was very loud. It wasn’t really a big problem because the quality windows were really effective and we didn’t need them open at night. We really enjoyed our stay.
