The gentleman who checked me in was very nice very efficient and very friendly. The motel is older but with a lot of TLC it would be great. Less than 8 minutes from Duke University.

The TV did not work, the shower did not work, the internet too slow to be useful at all, the sheets were ratty and the walls dirty. The only good part was the staff. Everyone I met who worked there was VERY nice, helpful and personable.

Super 8 near Durham University

We had stayed in this hotel only a few months ago and was shocked that it had deteriorated so much. There were cobwebs in corners and under the window. The floor was sticky and the room smelled bad. There were also roaches. However, the staff was friendly.

The bed, pillows were great. The shower was nice, good water pressure, clean curtain. It was warm. It was quite after 11 pm. Convenient. Yet, The place was really unclean. The Rugs hadn’t been vacuumed, microwave dirty, refrigerator dirty, the sink dirty, mirror dirty, coffee maker broke, bathtub just old I guess, had stains. Commode was nice. Cigarette burns on bed cover. Saw one roach. I think that they forgot to clean it. My stay before this one was more pleasant.

Expedia, shame on you for not showing the actual picture of the property on your listing. Very deceptive. This is an old motel that has not had updates in a long time. The room smelled, the furniture is beat up, there were cigarette burns in the bedspread, and what I thought were ants were actually baby cockroaches. It was fairly clean and the water pressure was good. The bed was comfortable, but there was just a top sheet and a thin coverlet(with lots of holes), but no blanket or comforter. There were some folks just hanging around outside and music was playing late into the night. I think people may live at this place. It was fairly convenient to Duke. The 3 staff members I interacted with were extremely friendly. Wyndam needs to do a full gut job on this property.

The Bad: Rm 201. Bathroom door - could not be latched/locked Bathroom fan not working Floor tiles broken While sheets and towels were clean, walls, etc. were dirty 3 people - given 2 towels, 1 washcloth and no hand towels Non-smoking room smelled of smoke Sink plunger didn't work Climate controls broken and missing knob (couldn't adjust) After multiple requests, finally got a working WiFi pwd Non working ice machine Breakfast consists of coffee and mini donuts The Good: bed was comfortable lights worked outside door latched and locked

The only downfall was that they didn’t have water, pop and snack machines. I flew in and was without a car. The closet store I could find was a Walgreens to get water and diet drinks, snacks. The Uber ride was expensive at that time. Note: there is a little store, I think Korean that has some things. If you can have sugar, I can’t. Everything else was great. Clean, microwave, frig, nice flat screen tv, great fan bathroom, nice shower, nice floors, clean sheets, and the manager and staff were friendly, helpful, awesome. Ice machine, coffee and coffee maker in room. They let me check out an hour late due to a doctors appointment and check in an hour early. I felt safe there, no parties or loud noise. I would highly recommend, especially for 1-3 day stay.

I recommend

I had a very nice time it was quiet clean and had everything I needed for the three days that I needed it for I brought my dog and he was comfortable as well the people were nice at the reception the woman who checked me in and who was there throughout my stay was very kind hearted and made sure my dog was safe and that’s the main important part for me was my safety and my dog safety we had a very good time
