Most people find our rooms to be clean and comfortable. I would encourage everyone to read several reviews to get a fair assessment of the motel. I agree that it needs upgrades including a new roof. In the mean time we will continue to provide good service, clean and comfortable rooms at a good value.

Our office hours are from 4-10 PM daily. I'm working with Expedia to try to make this policy more prominent. We do make arrangements for late check and try to contact our guest before 10 if they haven't showed up by then. If we are not able to reach the guest then we leave a key in an envelope on the front desk with the guest name on it. The front desk person also sleeps at the motel over night and can answer the phone to accommodate the guest. I'm sorry things did not go well for you.

Am glad you liked our comfortable beds, and nice front desk person. Sorry I can't do anything about the train tracks or the closed down restaurant next door. We do keep the rooms clean and maintain them. Our windows and heating and air conditioning units are less then ten years old.
