I had the opportunity to stay and you must say that it is an excellent strategic point for those who want to make more stops. Reggio Emilia located in a central position in such a way as to leave the car in their parking lot or possibly in the parking lot near the train station (about 2 minutes on foot) from there the whole route starts thanks to electric mobility and also the convenient services of the city.

The hotel lacked a lot of basic amenities like internet. I would have overlooked that but i did not appreciate that my non-smoking room reaked of cigarettes. Staff sprayed air freshener but that had zero impact.

I booked a single room at the Italia. It's in an unprepossing area of Reggio Emilia, and nobody was around when I turned up. I called and ten minutes later somebody let me in. His Italian was very poor, but he tried to communicate that I could have a different room for a couple of hours because somebody was sleeping in my single room. Then I could change. Very little made me feel like any of this was a good idea, and I booked somewhere else. It didn't feel secure, although I didn't get to see either room. Also, the area around the station felt quite dodgy with lots of gangs of youths in the shadows (the police were evidently trying and failing to move them on all afternoon and evening) - to reach the Italia I'd have had to go past them, through the station and 100m through an underpass, then a big carpark. I'm used to dodgy areas but I'm glad I chose to go elsewhere. All this is just my own view, and I didn't see much of the hotel beyond the outside and reception, so others may know more.

Non è un albergo ma una sorta di affittacamere ubicato in un contesto terrificante. Una sorta di "reception" al primo piano senza ascensore e camere spoglie al secondo piano, sempre senza ascensore. Prenotato in concomitanza di un grande evento e quindi a prezzi folli per un hotel di tale categoria. Ma ero consapevole della cosa e quindi va bene. Parto dai pregi: la posizione per chi deve raggiungere il campo volo. Alle spalle del villaggio “Le Reggiane” e a 20 minuti a piedi dall’ingresso dell’ RCF Arena. Cosa è andato male (molto male): L’accoglienza! Nonostante avessi già pagato anticipatamente con carta tramite Expedia, il personale a causa di un problema nel ricevimento dei soldi da Expedia (non dipendente da me) pretendeva un ulteriore pagamento da parte mia. Tra l altro ad un prezzo superiore di quanto già pagato (grazie ad uno sconto in mio possesso). Nonostante provassi a fargli capire che il problema non era mio, ma tra lui ed Expedia, questi insisteva esibendo ricevute di transazioni fallite le quali, tra l’altro, non era possibile collegarle alla mia prenotazione… Insomma, solo dopo aver contattato il servizio clienti e dopo la loro mediazione sono riuscito a prendere possesso della camera. Comportamento assolutamente inaccettabile, anche per un hotel 1 stella… Di “buono” c’è che ho avuto un “upgrade” della camera, con bagno privato invece che condiviso

Mettiamola così: vi serve un posto per dormire, visto che andate a vedere un concerto a Campovolo/RCF Arena? Se proprio non trovate altro...ma se vi portate un sacco a pelo è meglio. Da dimenticare. Ps: NON ha il parcheggio. Quindi, dopo aver fatto il giro di Reggio Emilia per arrivarci (sempre in caso di concerto), dovrete mettervi in cerca di un posto dove lasciare l'auto.

Prima di partire avevo letto diverse recensioni negative e sono contenta di poter dire di aver avuto un’esperienza positiva. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile, la camera era più che pulita e anche la zona in cui si trova l’albergo l’ho trovata facile e comoda da raggiungere. Ho deciso di non dare cinque stelle perchè una cosa negativa c’è stata, ovvero l’odore di fumo nella stanza nonostante fosse segnalata come camera per non fumatori. Se proprio dovessi avnazare un’altra critica, sarebbe stato carino avere una saponetta per le mani oltre i due flaconcini di shampoo che abbiamo ricevuto. Per concludere, siamo rimasti solo una notte e non avevamo particolari esigenze se non quella di avere un posto per dormire ma ci siamo trovati molto bene!

Struttura ricettiva in condizioni igieniche terribile. Bagno senza carta igienica lavello sporco idem doccia. Camera maleodorante ed sporca. Materasso completamente sfondato. Cuscino idem Senza lenzuola solo federa ed 1 coperta usata maleodorante ed sporca. Si sentono tutti i rumori delle camere adiacenti. Non capisco perché certe strutture possano essere presenti sulle piattaforme. Esperienza terribile.
