We had a truly wonderful experience at AmericInn! It had everything I look for in a hotel! The rooms were large and extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, potatoes and sausage, waffles, cereal, pastries and more, and the price was unbeatable!

Overall the stay was good. The breakfast surprised me, it was good. Sometimes when it says "Continental" I only expect pastries, bagels and such, which would be ok. But there was a full out hot breakfast, and it was good. Our room was ok, the bed good. There was no other furniture in the room: only one desk chair. No couch, love seat, chair, nothing. The bed and the desk chair. I thought that was weird. Construction is going on so there was no fitness room, and there was a little dust. No worries.

Room was very dated, with many spots of wear and tear, but was spacious and clean. The lobby is under construction, the pool and gym were closed, which was not disclosed when we booked. Under renovation so all amenities were out of order. This information was not posted anywhere so it came as a surprise. The room was clean, but the rest of the hotel was not. When we booked the hotel, we were misinformed that the rooms slept 5. They don’t have any rooms that sleep 5 and the size of the room would’ve made a roll away difficult. Rather than have one of our guests sleep on the floor and with all amenities being out, we decided to switch hotels. The staff were super awesome and very understanding of the circumstances.

Our stay here was much needed thanks to winter storms halting our travels. It was very affordable, quick and easy from the interstate, friendly staff, and probably the best continental breakfast spread I’ve seen in YEARS. The coffee was fresh and quality, hot food items, and an assortment of cereal that wasn’t the typical boring kinds. The room was good for me and my family and there was an Applebees across the parking lot that made late night dinner super easy.

The staff were very friendly and nice. However, the pool and fitness center were both unavailable due to the hotel currently being remodeled, which remodeling occurred throughout the weekend and even earlier in the morning than the posted flyers said (the flyers said remodeling would occur between 9 AM and 5 PM, but I could hear the remodeling taking place at 8:15 on a Sunday morning). I would likely stay here again, after the remodeling is finished, but I was very frustrated with the pool being out of commission, as I had 2 youth to keep entertained and I had counted on the pool to be an option.

Very accessible, right off the highway. The rooms are clean & comfortable. There is an Applebees in the same parking lot, nice to have a restaurant close for dinner. I have a job going on in Rexburg, this is my go to hotel. The front desk staff is always very friendly.
