The location was perfect: right by the big new church in the center of downtown. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but not tiny, and comfortable. Breakfast was a perfect deal, with tasty and healthful array of breads, fresh fruit, condiments, and yogurt. I would be happy to choose this hotel again in the future.

The location is great. There's a free parking lot across the road, it's right at the edge of the downtown with lots to see. We had a room looking out to the church. Staff were great and the breakfast was good as expected.

Great hotel in a great location. Very comfortable room and nice free breakfast. Coffee and water available all day in the cozy lounge area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything in the City Center is within easy walking distance for healthy adults. Access to public and tour busses is super close. The room with a view of Hallsgrmkirkja was worth the upgrade. Highly recommend.

Good hotel in a great spot by the famous church

Very good. Spent 4 nights. The hotel happily relocated us to a double room from a twin with views of the church. Breakfast had variety and set us up for our trips. The room was snug and clean. The reception staff were helpful and kind.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Leifur Eiriksson. The room was perfect for a rest between sightseeing and the hotel was very conveniently located near a bus stop and multiple sights.
