First of all, the check in was not smooth at all. They did not have my expedia reservation, in fact they had no idea what expedia was. After 4 phone calls, they figured out that it was under some other ?local named travel agency. Next issue is that the room we were given did not have air conditioning, which was the main reason I booked this hotel. They tried to give us a fan (really not sufficient on the coast here in our opinion). After polite insistence that we really do require air conditioning for us to stay there, they found a room with it. This is a large hotel (largest in the region by a fair bit), a few tour groups, from Germany and France were staying there as well, which made breakfast a little busy at times, but the hotel seemed to keep up well - the breakfast crew was pretty efficient. Breakfast quality was adequate in general for the island with several options including eggs and ok coffee. The beds/pillows were quite comfortable. There was some noise in the mornings from nearby work going on, but it didn't start super early and wasn't a deal breaker. The hotel was within a 5-10 min walk from a few restaurants and there were lot's of taxis/collectivo's around if one needs a ride to a hike. The staff overall were very nice and super polite, they seemed to try hard to figure things out.

Tres bon emplacement. Accueil excellent. Grande chambre moderne, tres bien équipée. Salle de bain tres fonctionnelle, mais manque d'intimité (pas de séparation entre la chambre et la salle de pas : pas de porye, pas de rideaux) Petit déjeuner assez simple, mais copieux.

The hotel is lovely with a great location. However, the bathrooms are open plan. No door at all to the bathroom, which is ok if you are alone, but zero privacy if you are sharing.

Dirty shower tray day one No water on day two morning and told to wait 20 minutes, however, we had booked excursions Room service option on tv - no one informed us this did not work, we had to call the reception to ask where our food was and were then Informed this method of ordering does not work We ordered food for 1930, called 1945 and then receptionist informed us that it doesn’t work Pizza, chips, 2 soft drinks ordered at 1947 arrived at 2031 Safe had a key -should have been a code AC not working properly, on occasions it did not work at all All rooms advertised with balcony we had no balcony No kettle in the room Roof top bar not open One glass in the room instead of two Freezing cold water in the shower
