Room was billed by Hotels as having a Queen bed with availability of a fold up unit as well. Bed wasn't even a full size and no room for anything else. Very small room. View was excellent and the scones were fantastic.

It looks recently updated. Couldn’t get any closer to the lake, and every room has a lake view for the sunset. Rooms close to each other, but all the other guests were nice and quiet. Good beach nearby.

This is my favorite place to stay in the Rice Lake area. It is a charming lodge tucked away in a quiet spot right on the lake. Expect beautiful vistas year round. Each room is designed uniquely, several are pet friendly. Each has a view of and access to the lake. The staff/owners are friendly and accommodating. There are complementary non-motorized water activities in the summer and nightly campfires. Breakfast is fruit and a locally baked scone. There is nothing hotel-chain about this place.

Welcoming place to stay.

My family and friends came up for the American Birkebeiner ski race. We were unable to get into our usual place so thought we would try this place. It’s a very clean hotel with comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We liked it so much we decided to stay again next year.

We loved Currier’s for our Labor Day holiday. It is close to the Twin Cities, clean, comfy, and dog friendly. The free kayaks, paddle boards, and other boats are an added bonus! We hope to make our visit an annual thing!

The property isn’t the newest but it is SO BEAUTIFUL! We got in super late and only stayed one night as we were traveling, but the room has a back porch overlooking the lake and it is very rustic and homey. The room we had was small but very quaint and perfect for me and my husband. We will definitely be back!!

I loved that it's right on the water with a ton of docks, a cool firepit and several grills. Sitting on the deck is so peaceful watching the fishing boats and birds. The free coffee, tea and the amazing scones are such a special treat. The only thing is we had a spider in our bed, and there is literally nowhere to put any toiletries in the bathroom. A small shelf added to each bathroom would be ideal.

We enjoyed our stay, lovely view and cozy cabin feeling. The rooms were very clean, I gave it one less star due to the fact there was a yellow stain on the floor / carpet and I was concerned it would go against us in our check-out. It did not so they have it noted. Everything was lovely and I really enjoyed my Vaca away from home with my husband. we liked the convenience of having our own little kitchen to cook so we did not have to go dine out every night. The bed was very comfortable as well.

The back door of our room opened into the patio right by the lake. Nice view of the sunset from the patio! We also enjoyed using the kayaks a couple of times during our stay. They have coffee and scones for breakfast, which was fine for us, but could have a few more options.

A lovely place right on a lake

The lodge is rustic looking and as we got a couple inches of snow which since we are not used to having cars covered the people in the office showed our driver how to do it as he wanted to do it himself My room was decorated with song birds and all the rooms had different themes

NEGATIVES: Too expensive for what was provided. Room decor very dated. Bathroom had no surface area (shelf?) for toiletries. Bed uncomfortable. No substantial lighting at night to utilize peep hole. Would not return unless room rate significantly reduced. Screaming children in lakes just outside door. Walls paper thin. Not handicap friendly. POSITIVES: Good location. Pleasant staff. Refrigerator. Convenient parking.
