Drury Plaza Hotel Richmond
10/10 Excellent
"Nice room, nice breakfast."

Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Innsbrook
4/10 Poor
"The housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly. The front desk staff were incompetent. They put us in a room that was already occupied and it took a long time to check in. Also, there was permanent mold on the tub--the kind that can't be cleaned off so it wasn't the housekeeping staff's issue. Also, there was a menu in the lobby that included sandwiches but there were never any sandwiches available. Finally, we were greeted with a free apple in the lobby but the apples were never replenished. It's a nice property but poorly managed."

The Jefferson Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"From the front desk staff to the room, unmatched service and a truly luxury experience. The staff in the hallway (room staff) were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Valet attendants were quick and professional. Overall, superior! Not to mention the most beautiful historical places we have ever stayed!"

Studio 6 Richmond Airport

Candlewood Suites Richmond - West Broad by IHG
8/10 Good
"We were 3 friends on vacation and we booked the 2 queen bed suite with pull out sofa and kitchen. We stayed for 4 nights. The Kitchen came in handy. There was a 2 burner stove, some pots, plates, bowls and cups. The silverware and knives were spare so luckily we had plasticware in the car. No sponge or dish towel was provided. We had 3 towel sets so we asked for extra towels and requested sheets for the pull out sofa. There was no bar soap for handwashing and we requested little bars. Complimentary coffee and tea downstairs. The coffee was good, but we had to keep asking for tea bags. We were close to the things we wanted to do for activities, museums and Carytown. UNACCEPTABLE - they started charging for parking. The parking lot is ample and had front and back. The lot was never full, it is not downtown and no amenities close by where other cars would be using their parking lot. This is a disservice to the paying hotel guests."

Omni Richmond Hotel
8/10 Good
"Believe me, the Omni in Richmond is a wonderful hotel. I’ll just say that if you’re looking for a luxurious top tier level of hotel, it isn’t all the way there. You’ll notice some little things top hotels don’t let slide. The walls are super thin. I felt like I could have a conversation with our neighbors through the wall (without yelling). We were lucky not to hear any nefarious activities going on. Also, the bathroom door had some wear and tear. The windows needed a scrubbing too. No big deal. Just stuff you’d care about if you wanted luxury at its best, which tends to be the Omni brand. My last gripe really is that they don’t have a free parking option. It’s either you park yourself for $35 or valet parks you for $45. So include that in your price if you elect to stay here. Other than that, my goodness - very clean, soft bed, excellent shower pressure, amazing amenities, perfect location, helpful staff. I would recommend to anyone passing through and looking for something really nice to stay in for the night."

Graduate by Hilton Richmond
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing Everything was perfect"

Linden Row Inn
8/10 Good
"The staff doesn't seem very happy to be there.... My room only got cleaned once during the 3-night stay. The refrigerator in the room made such a horrible, nonstop noise that we had to leave it unplugged. Don't expect to bring leftovers back and keep them cold overnight."

The Commonwealth
8/10 Good
"This hotel is very well situated for the Capital and downtown -- it's not a local neighborhood, if that's what you're looking for. The room and bathroom were spacious and soundproofed. The gentleman at check-in and check-out was very polite and helpful. The rooms could use some updating electronically -- more charge points for phones, airpods, etc. would be useful. Would not recommend for a business traveler until they update that aspect, but for a vacation traveler, it was find."
