Maymont mansion is a 19th century estate frozen in time! It takes you back to that era with its gilded age mansion, gardens and acres of land. You get an insight into the extravagant life of the rich aristocrat family as well as the servants who worked on their estates. It is a wonderful place to take in the beauty of nature and essence of history!

Amazing Japanese gardens in what used to be someone's actual backyard. Mansion is definitely the right word for this property.
I wasn't kidding when I said this garden was big. This was at least one of three waterfalls.

For the price it was comfortable and quiet for one night. I was alone and saying that it would be tight quarters for two people. Bathroom very small with just enough room for a toilet and tub. Room was clean but there was a hairline crack along the tile in the tub area.
