"We were on the second floor, and the hallway had a strong smell of stale cigarette smoke the entire time. The room itself was clean. There appeared to be a staff member that uses his car in the parking lot to sleep in. Continental breakfast was only carbs - no fruit or protein. But the real surprise was when we all had a bowl of Cheerios, after we had eaten half-way through, my daughter had found a full dead fly in hers. I then realized what I had pulled out of my bowl was not a small piece of plastic but a fly leg. After being disgusted we brought this to the attention of the owner/breakfast attendant and she apologized but did absolutely nothing to clean out the Cheerios bin. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was another dead fly in that bin and this certainly seems like it could be a health code issue. Also, even though the hot tub is indoors, it doesn’t open until Memorial Day. The parking lot was flooded on one side from the rain from the day before. Unfortunately, if you entered on the wrong side you would suddenly find yourself in a foot of water after the steep driveway. Overall, we left this place with a feeling of yuck and were grateful to leave."

"Parking is just in front of the establishment. Courteous staff, it was off season and we were able to check in early, they even recommended local dining options since most restaurants were closed at the time. When you check in, prior to arriving you'll get an email for your key. The key's are located in the lock box to the right of the front door. "
