"At first, it was strange that I was informed that my reservation was canceled, and that the room was different from the room described at the time of reservation. The owner only spoke Italian. However, when I arrived at the room, it was surprisingly comfortable with all the facilities. It was smaller than expected, and we had to use a double bed for 3 people, but overall we were satisfied. The wine they make is very good and worth the trip just for that alone."

It’s a dog friendly site and our 1 year old Golden Doodle just loved it, running around on site. It’s a remote site and therefore very quite. "We booked two rooms at the Casa Griunit only to find that the description on the hotels.com Website had been misleading. The Casa Griunit doesn’t offer rooms, each unit is actually an apartment. The apartment would have had sleeping space for four people with a bedroom and a sofabed downstairs, but we wanted two separate rooms for our 5-day stay. Luckily, this was resolved to our complete satisfaction by the owner and hotels.com staff. The apartments each had a lovely, spacious bedroom upstairs...

"This hotel is a gem in the Udine area. The cleanliness and maintenance are impeccable. Every detail has been looked at and been thought about. Breakfast was perfect with enough hot and cold choices and everything was fresh and yummy. The staff are polite and professional. Great parking area and plenty of restaurants on foot distance. Free use of the swimming pool if you are staying. We had a great, relaxing few days here and we recommend it to anyone. "
