“We had an amazing, but too short, stay here at this beautiful and quiet winery. We spent two nights in the area but should have spent more. Anna and Matteo are wonderful hosts. They are welcoming and helpful in so many ways. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace overlooking the vineyards and a wine tasting after breakfast. The wine was delicious and the tour was great. We would definitely come back and stay a week or more and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing setting. Thanks for having us!”

“This is a hidden gem. A car is essential as the hotel is in a very pretty but rural area with no other facilities. However the hotel is absolutely first class, the rooms are spacious, airy and well appointed. The hotel restaurant is brilliant with a great selection of local dishes and on Saturday and Sunday a quaint small bar at the front of the hotel where you can sit and watch the occasional cyclist or car go by. The owning family are so helpful and made us feel so welcome ”

“Awesome stay at Al Pompiere. Quaint and comfortable room and absolutely gorgeous views....vines and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. Luca was just fabulous on arrival!! And we had a terrific continental breakfast before leaving in the morning... and one of the best cappuccinos we had!”

“I stayed here only for a matter of hours (waiting for an early morning flight). The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally kind and friendly - that was the biggest takeaway for me. He helped me store my medication and everything, which I really appreciated. Thank you for a restful few hours Nuovo Alberto Operai. Hope to stay again.”

“Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Leider war bei uns der Safe und die Lüftung im Bad kaputt. Der Besitzer das Hotels war allerdings sehr bemüht, die Dinge zu beheben. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr schön und das selbstgemachte Frühstück extrem lecker.”
