Both nights, dinner and bartenders were amazing. There were no guests at breakfast when we arrived this morning. All but one table was clean. Chatty cathy was too busy i speaking in another language to wipe off any of the tables. The tables were all still uncleaned when we left.

Bring the heavy pajamas
The room was freezing-cold upon 3pm check-in although the thermostat appeared to be set at 73F; we changed it to 77F and went out. Upon return, 11pmish, it still read 77F but felt like 47F. We asked at the front desk and were told a system restart would occur in the basement so our room didn't have to be entered by staff. By the time we went to sleep, > midnight, it might have been 57F. Eco-friendly? you bet. Comfortable? absolutely not.

From time we checked in to the time we left, the staff and accommodations were excellent. We were extremely happy with the quality of service from all of the hotel employees as well as the excellent quality of food and service in the bistro. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had a great stay for my birthday weekend! Was able to go shopping right around the block and so many food options including Bistro 72 which is conveniently located in the hotel. Will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I stayed here during Labor Day week, 2023. I gave the hotel and staff a glowing review. We stayed one night over Thanksgiving. It was the opposite experience. We booked dinner in the restaurant and it felt like a cafeteria. The hotel room they assigned us had a TV that didn’t work properly. The desk manager made three separate trips to correct it. The only option was to switch rooms. But it was after 9pm. There was a serious staffing issue. There wasn’t enough staff to cope with the crowds and everything seemed rushed and slipshod. A little less than 3 months ago, I was recommending this hotel and chose to spend the holiday with my wife here. We won’t be returning.

A Local Gem
This is a hotel where friendliness and hospitality —staff and fellow guests—make everyone feel welcome and comfortable and make up for the imperfections. My wife and I, residents of New York City and fans of the North Fork of Long Island for decades, arrived on Labor Day, when the crowds and traffic were moving in the opposite direction. We booked three nights at a good price. The hotel decor is unique, the furniture and facilities are showing signs of wear and in need of an upgrade, the room was small but nicely decorated, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom and shower were clean and functional . The hotel restaurant, Bistro 72, serves good food with a smile, provides live entertainment and is a magnet for an older, mature crowd that is down-to-earth and without pretense. We enjoyed our stay here so much that despite having planed to drive out to visit the local attractions, we never left the place. We will return.

I normally love, love, love this property. However, my last stay this was not the case. They must be under staffed because I saw the same tray of food out in the hallway for 2 days. The day of checkout, the power went off completely. When I called front desk, they stated they had posted a sign that the power in the entire hotel would be off & she couldn't give me an estimate of time. I was only there for one night & the next morning I was getting ready to attend a wedding & was unable to do so because of the power outage. I chose this hotel because it was closest to the venue. They should have informed quests verbally at check in the the power would be out the next day., not post a small sign at front desk only.

Had a great staycation here - bestie from CA visiting and couldn't stay in my home. Fun at Restaurant Bar, cocktails by the fireplace and breakfast outdoors. Very accommodating staff and great convenient location.

The room smelled like old sock in a hamper trapped for days. So I decided to call the front desk, but to my dismay, the phone didn’t work. So I walked to the front desk and said the room had an odor, the desk person gave me a bottle of air freshener and went on a tangent about there not being one available room. I went back to my room and turned off the ac and opened the windows which thankfully helped a bit, but I prayed that nobody parked in front of the windows. I went to the front desk the next morning and mentioned that I thought it might be the ac filter and they said they would send in maintenance to fix the issue, but alas they never came. The bathroom sink was also clogged but I just figured it was par for the course. I would not recommend this hotel if you have another option.

Shockingly bad for the high price
The mattress was worn. The toilet is very low for older adults. The breakfast was so bad it is embarrassing. They have their nerve to charge $569!!! For one night. I will not recommend this place.

The decor is really great and the property is very convenient to everything. The restaurant leaves something to be desired. Amenities available are not clearly stated. No information in the room about them. The food was good but ambiance was lacking. Pool area food court or restaurant ? Really hard to distinguish.
