"I had an absolutely outstanding stay at Hotel Nohga Kyoto, and it is without doubt one of the finest hotels I have experienced. From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptional in every possible way—welcoming, friendly, attentive, and unfailingly polite. Their warmth and professionalism created an atmosphere that made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every interaction was delivered with a smile. The rooms were superb. They were beautifully presented, immaculately maintained, and extremely comfortable. In particular, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a day exploring Kyoto. Breakfast was another highlight of the stay. The quality and variety were excellent, with a fantastic selection that made each morning something to look forward to. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and clearly chosen with care. The facilities throughout the hotel were outstanding and thoughtfully designed. I even had the opportunity to enjoy a morning sound bath session, which was expertly delivered and a wonderfully relaxing way to start the day. The other facilities at the hotel were excellent as well, contributing to an overall experience that combined comfort, wellbeing, and style. Overall, the level of service and attention to detail made this a truly memorable stay. I could not recommend Hotel Nohga Kyoto highly enough and will absolutely be recommending it to all. "Excellent location that was hard to find at first. Very close to Kyoto station, to great restaurants and to a helpful 7-11 store. Close to the very fun BioLab attraction, the highlight of our visit. Helpful, courteous staff who made us comfortable and met our needs. "

"We loved this hotel: great location only 2 blocks up from Kyoto Station Hachijo East exit, big room for Japan, very clean, staff very nice and helpful and some spoke English, room and hotel very clean, AC worked well and could be controlled from the room, free drink station was great, having a public hot bath is great, and having washer/dryer is great. The were only a few areas that were lacking: 1) There’s only one usb port in each superior twin rooms that I booked. That meant only one person could charge their cell phone/device at a time. Good thing we brought extra adapters so that allowed more than one person to charge their phone or other devices at the same time. 2) There is only one public hot bath (on the women’s side) so it was very crowded much of the time, in the actual hot bath itself, as well as in the changing area, shower area, vanity area, and entrance/exit area. That said, we were very happy that they had a public hot bath at all, so the inconvienence was relatively minor. 3) The washer/dryer worked well for us because we followed instructions carefully, especially Step 0 to clean/rinse out the unit before starting your wash. The problem was there wasn’t enough units for the size of the hotel/number of guests, and because its a combination unit, the duration is 2 hours automatic minimum time required per load. Unless you wash clothes early in morning or very late night (after midnight or before 6:30am), its hard to find an available unit. "
