“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

“The Peace Lodge is a tranquil escape. There are not very many rooms, so the grounds are quiet. You get the opportunity to walk through the animal sanctuary on the grounds. The resort dog Rusty was very friendly and a welcome sight. The menus were on the expensive side and some more affordable options would be welcome, but the quality of the food was excellent.”

“The property grounds are very well landscaped. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area needs to be better maintained as the decking needs to be replaced before it collapses when someone walks on it. The rooms need updating. Once the new owners take possession, maybe hey will make the necessary improvements. We would love to return once upgrades have been completed. ”

“Breakfast is amazing !!! And the staff and security are so helpful and wonderful!! Very knowledged on the property as well, just make sure you have bug repellent before going to your room, a lot of insects but with the repellent it wasn’t bad. Also no tvs no microwave and no fan or AC just be mindful about this. It is the ultimate getaway for sure for peace and quiet. But the bar el gato on the property is soooo cute and the drinks are delicious, see Yahaira the bartender she was so great!!!...
