The hotel is located in a wonderful location next to the lake's shore. It's quiet and not crowded. The service was very small town vibes. Everyone was nice and it was easy to check-in.
The hotel itself is rather old. It doesn't look to be renovated, but it's no frills and I can appreciate that. Off the balcony is a lovely view of Lake Michigan. The room came with a mini-fridge, microwave, AC, and an old school box TV that was working surprisingly well. Decor-wise, it had some old, but well-maintained carpet and wall paper.
The only downside are the beds were lumpy.
Overall, a nice outdated hotel that's been maintained, has a great view, access to the lake, and has friendly service.
