"Chosen for location, the property was a bit underwhelming. The apartment I had (268) was spacious but in need of renovation. Having said that, the wifi was good, the reception staff very friendly and for the money, I couldn’t really argue for just 1 night. Aircon was great and breakfast price was very reasonable. "Il s’agit d’un petit hôtel de deuxième ordre dans un quartier malfamé. Pas moyen de sortir le soir sans craindre le pire. Pas de restaurant autour. Je ne comprend pas pourquoi il est si bien noté chez Expedia. J’ai failli aller ailleurs tellement j’étais découragée."

"The Tiber is a great hotel for the price and location. At times the staff were moody and not very friendly and sometimes they were very nice. The food at the restaurantI was good and drinks are good. I don’t like the fact that they charge for everything such as coffee and water. They charge you for the coffee pods. They provided water the first night of our stay and thereafter you have to buy from the vending machine. Inadvertently I left my credit card inside the vending machine. CC slot and someone purchased $24.00 worth of bottled waters on my credit card. The front desk called me late at night to tell me that my card was still on the machine. I’m baffles as to how they did not see anyone use it throughout the few hours it was in the machine. Luckily I was able to have the bank dismiss it. I will definitely return but will bring my own water."

"We enjoyed our stay from the moment we entered. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Our only disappointment was not being able to use the jacuzzi. It was 9 PM and we couldn’t find the on switch so I asked a staff member in the fitness room and was told it wouldn’t work because it was too close to the 10PM closing time. This was very disappointing as we were wanting to use it to unwind from the day."

"My family of five stayed in two rooms at this hotel in May 2026. In the United States, we typically stay at midscale hotel brands, so the price of this hotel fit comfortably within our budget for Italy. Convenient access to rail transportation was a major factor in our hotel selection, and this property is within walking distance of the Marconi station, making it easy to get around Rome. The hotel was clean, quiet, and felt safe throughout our stay. The furnishings and décor were modern, stylish, and well-coordinated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. One small detail I particularly enjoyed was the EDM music playing in the lobby, which made waiting for my family of teenage girls to get ready for our daily adventures a little more enjoyable. Overall, we had a very positive experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I return to Rome in the future, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again."
