What a beautiful gem in Trastavere! Clean, modern, well maintained. Perfect location as well-walkable to the main area, but far enough away where it was quiet at night. Staff was so accomodating and welcoming. 10/10 can't wait to return

Palazzo baj is a small boutique hotel of 4 rooms. We were greeted by Laura who did a fantastic job of explaining the property and giving us recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The location was excellent as we were able to walk to all of Rome's attractions. The rooms were well kept and soundproof despite being on the main road by the river. Would highly recommend and stay here again

There are 4 rooms only. All on the ground level. That kept everything close and convenient. Walking distance to everything! Safe area. Many small eateries nearby. Tiber River across the street. Good A/C! Clean private bathroom. Wonderful host!!! I would book it again.

Don’t be deceived - it’s not palace, not even a hotel - it’s a Guest House. No staff at the front desk and entering the building and room - goes through using codes. The so called ”lounge” and ”buffet” - is not how anyone would define it. But, that's not what you pay for - you pay for the location! You have ancient Rome just over the bridge and you have Trastevere's wide range of shops and restaurants. It doesn't matter that there is no breakfast - there are plenty of cozy cafes to go to. The owner is incredibly nice and service-minded. She will help you with restaurant tips and help you book a table. As long as you are aware what you are booking - this is a jewel.

Great location in Trastevere, easy check in and check out. It is along a main road which makes for easy walking and taxi transportation, but the windows keep the room absolutely silent.
